Cowboys sign 20 UDFAs

Watch out for Mosley from Kentucky. He tackles everything in site.

i was really hoping for more pure jet burner speed and punt returning ability at the WR spots this year.

I'm not seeing an over the top deep field stretcher speed receiver or a broken field punt returner.

(sigh) ...oh well i guess our new feature lead WR will be forced to double duty, and expose to over use wear down. :(

I’m shocked he went Undrafted. I remember being a monster at Auburn. He had 13 sacks at UCF last season as well.

He should find a role in this league.
i didnt know he had left auburn til i read his pre-draft bio.
i liked him at auburn.
gotta love a guy named big kat.
i'm pullin for him.

La'Kendrick Van Zant also played RB in college. Maybe we get a legit look at him there.

BTW, here's something interesting on UDFA C Lindstrom.

This guy thinks Lindstrom is way better than Tyler Biadasz. I think he's probably right: we may have just found our center as an UDFA.

Also, here's Amon Simon.

This was certainly a trait draft even in free agency. We have about 8 OT's on the team now

It would be interesting to see the number of UDFA's that make the teams after they dropped the draft to 7 rounds from 12.

These teams move pretty quickly after the draft so I am assuming they've already talked to these players about what if they don't get drafted. Not a fun talk to have with a young man chasing his dream. But a second chance can make that dream a reality.

Lindstrom is 296. We don’t want to seen him vs Davis/Cox/Hargrove or Payne/Allen/Mathis.
Stepnowski wasn't 270lbs but he made up for that with a lot of smarts and pure technique. It took them letting him walk to really discover his value and they brought him back.

What’s the over and under on how many make the final roster + practice squad.

Totally different era of football. Players today are bigger, stronger and faster. Do you think a 270 pound center could play today?

Jason Kelce is a likely HOF and plays at 285-290.

C’s over 320+ are the outlier, majority of the good ones weigh between 305-315. Lindstrom will need to add 10 pounds of NFL weight for sure, but that’s really not a crazy task.

No idea how this board has run with the idea that a C needs to be huge to be affective. You would be writing off some of the best modern C’s to play the game because they are “too small”

Once he gets into the weight room & wolfs down on NFL peanut butter sandwiches and protein shakes, he'll get his weight up to where it needs to be.

I like Drummond, Lindstrom, & Bell to make the team. Drummond was open consistently vs SEC competition.
