First, they are called highlights for a reason. Second, he played at Liberty, not exactly at the top level of college football. Third, he's a 6-2, 224-pound linebacker who runs a 4.6 40. So he's probably not, but you never know.
I figure he's a good candidate to switch to the role Kearse plays, but I don't know if he's fast enough. Of course, Kearse's 40 was similar at a lower weight.

Just looking & reviewing the various threads post-draft....CZers expressing a lot of faith & hope in the rookies - Storey Jackson, Sam Williams, Markquese Bell, John Ridgeway, Tyler Smith, Jalen Tolbert, etc.I was looking at his highlights and he seems to be for real.
That is one thing I praise our GM and FO for. We do have a knack for finding gems in UDFA. I also like the safety we got. I feel he may be the gem that shocks people. But I feel Jackson has a shot. I'm rooting for him.maybe.
likes to hit.
always around the ball.
cool name.
be awesome if he does.
we do have a rich history with finding gems among the udfa rubble.
If indeed he does turn out to be a hidden gem, that would be quite the Storey

So Malik Willis should be judged like that because he went to Liberty as well right? The way I look at it, if you can play, then it doesnt matter where you went to school at.
I really hope hidden gems like Cox, Storey, Hansford and Harper emerge, surprises and works out for us ..because we really do desperately need the LB depth.
We're so very super razor thin at that position and unit.
Dean is around the same weight, and even slower at 4.7 40.
Storey could end up being a gem for sure.
Very stackedOdds are stacked against him.
