Still bothers me, that last play

Dumb thing to be mad about. Do you know what the odds are of scoring a td in this situation? Let me give you a clue. It’s slim.

The good the bad and the ugly!!!

I especially want to focus on the good right now. One player who sticks out is #11, YES by all means he gave us a fresh breath in life, gave us a reason to be happy! But, how is he going to grow from last season. Will he have the same stats, will they be better or worse?

Who cares honestly, the guy just has that I WANT IT ALL, no matter what it takes mentally. I wish our front office had that mindset, but I'll save that for another post.

You look at #7, the guy put up AMAZING numbers, and he gets looked over because he gave up yards. Ok, with that said, how does he grow from this, and clean up those small issues. Will he have 11 ints again, who knows.

I'm looking for this team to just stop talking, and play. Who cares about last season, how we didn't use Pollard enough. Maybe this year we use him a lot, possibly pricing himself out of here!

Let's get this season going, let's start with a clean mindset, and get another ring for goodness sake!! Your thoughts..

Forget 2021? OMG, I CANT!.

My wife left me!.
My dog died!
The IRS froze my bank accounts!
I was diagnosed with a new variant of Covid so rare I was the only person who caught it.
I didn't stock up enough on toilet paper!

And, of course, the Cowboys got eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs!

But not to worry, I still have my vacation in the Ukraine coming up next month, so that should rejuvenate me.

Sounds like a country western song...not to worry, play it backwards and you get it all back. :muttley:

Part of me wishes I had your optimism, but I broke the cycle years ago. I'll believe this season is different if/when i see it.

That's any sane Fans outlook. I would have put in there once in a while I'm pleasantly surprised, but yeah, that's the life of a fan in a nut shell

JJ and Co. broke me of optimism a long time ago. Our only hope is a stud QB to carry us past the insanity run organization that we are. Dak ain’t that guy. Mediocre QBs don’t carry teams.

LoL, ihm, no. Won't forget 2021 until they make me forget it (e.g. with a couple of play off wins)

2021 was a decent season. I don't see it as a negative, especially considering the 2020 defense.

2021 was a huge building block.

Yes, the Eagles did have a better defensive unit than the Cowboys last year, but there is solace to take there. The improvement relative to where the Dallas defense was in 2020 is a huge factor.

With Dan Quinn’s first year seeing such an improvement, and though it may not be as drastic this year, you have to imagine that the unit will continue to improve. That still may not put them over the top of the Eagles, but at worst, should help them draw pretty close.

There is also this. The best two or three defenders out of them all are, likely, on the Cowboys’ roster. When you consider Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs, and DeMarcus Lawrence, they are probably the best three defenders of the bunch if you were to line all of the defenders up from both teams.

Do the Eagles have a chance to take the Cowboys' NFC East title? (thelandryhat.com)

2021 was a huge building block.

Did the Eagles improve their offense in the offseason? Yes, without a doubt.

Bringing in A.J. Brown on a four-year pact, along with a few other offensive pieces, they should certainly be a more dynamic offensive unit in the coming season. With the Cowboys shipping Amari Cooper off to Cleveland, it might be fair to ask if the Eagles were able to pull even with Dallas with the addition of Brown.

Though the answer is still “no” there, as the Cowboys still probably have the better overall offensive group, you could argue that the Eagles have the best offensive skill player on either team right now in Brown. But when it comes to the other areas of the offensive unit, the Cowboys still reign supreme.
