Blueprint was already set by Zeke: whine and hold out for long enough and Jerry will eventually fold and give you your money.

Zeke didn't deserve that contract, and mediocre Schultz sure as heck doesn't deserve a big contract.

But knowing Jerry, Schultz will be the highest paid TE in the league in a couple weeks.

Quite honestly, I'm surprised Schultz (or his agent?) thinks he has enough leverage to hold out for a new contract.

If he didn't have Dump Down Dak as his QB, Schultz would be a JAG and out of the league in 3 years

LOL! Bye Dalton.. it's been nice having you here in Dallas. Enjoy your time at your next stop but there is no way in hades the Cowboys should sign you to some 14-15 million dollar a year contract. You aint that guy..

No need to disparage Zeke to put Schultz's contract demands in context. When he held out Zeke was coming off 4 years where he was the best RB in football and was clearly the straw that stirred the drink for the Cowboys offense. Schultz is coming off one year where he was maybe the 10th best at his position. There is zero similarity between the two.

Give us one more good season and we can talk these monster contract numbers. Sheesh. Acting like he’s Parsons or Diggs. Even Pollard deserves a bigger contract first,

Just proves Dalton Shultz is a darn liar. Doesn't have the juevos to stick to his word. If you give your word, be man enough to stick to it. What a horrible example he is setting. I hope Jerry & Stephen hold his feet to the fire, remind Dalton of saying he would let his agent deal with a new contract while Dalton concentrates on OTAs, then tell Dalton he's going to have to prove himself all season long if he truly wants and deserves a new contract. Also, warn Dalton if he decides to suddenly sit out, he will be docked daily fines and cost weekly paychecks until he man's up and shows up to work. No trade will be forthcoming since he already signed his franchise tag for the 2022 season.

Yeah, Dump Down Dak passed for almost 4,500 yards, a franchise record 37 TDs and a 104.2 passer rating...all on "Dump down" passes.

I checked out some sports tracker. Dalton was the 3rd best TE in the NFL for receptions and 5th in the NFL for TDs. He had more TDs than Gronkowski. He also averaged 10.4 yards per catch which makes him a first down machine.

It is one of two things. He is a hall of famer or a Kellen Junk Yard Time Baller.

Which is it?
