Garrett or McCarthy?

Please state why.

I'm going to roll with McCarthy because I do feel unlike Garrett, we are pretty proactive with the way we teams play us and most times, we have a solid plan. With the Garret regime, it felt as though, the plan sucked and we were hoping for our qb to pull off a miracle. Additionally, I think McCarthy do a better job at adjusting to the game than Garrett. Garrett had a tendency of banging his head against the wall, come hell or high water.

I like who ever can get this team over the hump and back to the SB. Garrett had his chance and failed an now McCarthy is getting his chance.

McCarthy - more aggressive, offense does not solely rely on Zeke, is not buddy buddy with players on the team, does not have family ties like jim garrett to keep him around more than we need to

McCarthy is an accomplished coach who has proved his worth in NFL , good track record and won a SB.

Garrett was a on the job trainee who trained for 15+years still didn’t master the job . ( he was an average OC living in the past 90’s air cordelle system and expect his players and execution will win over the scheme - Lazy )

This is a deal where neither WINS, but Garrett loses.

Garrett may have been qualified in a different day. A much earlier one.

I'm not even talking about SUCCESS, I mean being qualified at all. Garrett never was IMO.

The only one who thought so was Jerry Jones, who figures that he himself is SO great that he can find these inexperienced guys and mold them into his perfect puppet.

In some ways, Garrett still hasn't left the building. Jerry needs to be in control. That's why Kellen Moore is here.....that and the Dak coddling act that they think is part of "secret sauce." LOL.

Yeah and the HOF QB who won it for him is on record as saying that MM has a "low football IQ."

The only thing that keeps me from being bothered by that daily is the guy who said it is the biggest doosh of all time in any facet of life.

Well, that and my annual blind hope that we can win in spite of our FO and coaching.

Coach Mac,
Because I feel he has a better grasp of the game.
I have been very disappointed by his lack of involvement in the Offense.
I was hoping he would install his offense.
Instead we get to see Moore running the Garrett 2.0 1990's stale offense.
I would like to clean house of all our coaches besides Quinn and hire a young inovative offensive minded HC.

Mike...but I do like Garrett for the Giants hehehe. Not sure I can listen to him as a broadcaster, should be interesteing (or the complete opposite).

McCarthy is an easy answer, but the gap isn't as wide to me as most people think. I believe McCarthy is far more aggressive and puts people in a place to succeed (as opposed to focusing on total risk management). McCarthy would ratehr someone fail, but give it a shot, than put a mediocre player in or call a lame play because he's afraid of the result. That gets my respect and is probably the biggest edge.

I thought Garrett would do better in NY - he did have a track record developing young QBs (first Romo and then Dak) and regardless had always had pretty good offenses, but it never worked out. That said, I think that NYG roster and organization is as bad as it has ever been, so kind of impossible to tell where it starts with Garrett or ends with the organization.

But I digress - McCarthy is clearly a tier over Garrett for me.

Both say yes way to often, but Mike could at least knock the red out of JG with a well landed punch to the cranium.
So my gladiator response says Big Mike, but that definitely doesnt mean that he is more intelligent than JG.

Big Mike.
He coaches very aggressively and brings a punch to meetings.
Garrett came from a business school/process type approach and that makes it really easy for others to stay a step ahead of you.
