What would have a healthy Romo done in 2016?

Don’t think Romo knocks off 13 wins especially the consecutive wins he always choked over big close games
Dak's rankings in 2016:

19th in passing yards (right behind Wentz)
16 in passing TDs (tied with Blake Bortles:lmao:)

24th in yards per game (right behind Miami Dolphins version Ryan Tennenhill)

If we go 13-3 with a QB that is below average in basically everything I think 13 wins with a healthy Romo all season in 2016 would be easy work.

Zeke and the O-line was the catalyst for that 2016 team. He won the rushing title by over 300 yards. Dak wasn't anything special at all, just a bus driver, while Zeke was the engine.

Romo would have balanced that out much better. Zeke would have still been great, but we'd have great overall QB play for a veteran, instead of great QB play for a rookie QB.

Great QB play for a veteran is a much higher level of play than great QB play for a rookie.

Dak had 302 yards passing with 3 TDs and a passer rating of 103.2. He led the Cowboys to 31 points and a tie game with just seconds to play. We didn’t lose because of our QB we lost because of the other teams QB…fact!
We had 13 points going into the 4th quarter and was down 2 TDS.

Dak was putting up empty stats in 4th quarter losing efforts from jump street.

He wasn’t the reason we were down 13 points and he brought us back to tie the game in the closing seconds so those weren’t empty numbers. Our defense choked!

Had Romo never gotten hurt in 2016, what would have the Cowboys done in 2016? A healthy Romo all season.

Do you think he would have taken the team to a Superbowl and won it all, RomoIsGod?

He dug us out of a hole to tie the game in the closing seconds. Our defense folded in the playoffs like it usually does with just 3 seconds left. No QB in the history of the franchise could overcome the issues our defense has in the playoffs. Both Romo and Dak played great games against Green Bay in the playoffs only to watch our defense choke against Aaron Rodgers.

Good for Dak.

You Romoloving Dak haters are the absolute worst!

Y'all have ruined this forum today.

So glad the Jones' and Cowboys don't listen to you.

Oh, did you get triggered by the love that Romo gets? Poor thing, just stare at your Dak poster and you will feel much better. Dak loves you so get happy. Oh, by the way, Romo was 10 times the QB as your secret love child. smdh

I heard AC was a huge Romo hater in the past.

I mean I definitely get that vibe from him, but he seems to have once been everything he now whines about. Is this true?

Atlanta was next.

They beat the breaks off Green Bay in the NFC Championship game and then blew a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl.
Gotta love when a coach goes pass happy when up by 25 points.

I still dont understand why on God's green earth the game plan against GB who the Cowboys beat the snot out of in GB riding Zeke to 200 plus yards decides to come out throwing the ball and getting cute. Garrett was the king of that. Just do what you are good at. In the words of Sandra Bullock. RUN THE DANG BALL

That's why Garrett is out of the league now.

He had no clue what he was doing and never figured it out.

I don't know because really only know him/her from this board. But I do know that poster talks out of both sides of his/her mouth. Some posts she claims to like Romo when he played, but if you include Dak into a convo about Romo he/she goes ape krap because, well, you just don't talk good about Romo, you are supposed to give all your love to Dak. smdh

In the fourth quarter with the game on the line he came through. Zeke had 125 yards rushing. We got hit with a very bad call early in the game that helped put us down. Aaron Rodgers dissected us for 355 yards and stuck a dagger in us with only three seconds left in regulation. You have a stupid agenda that never ends. You’re a waste of time!

A HOLE that was there cause Dakko couldn't keep up and once again woke up in the 4th Q.
Now tell us this is not a usual occurrence with # 4???
When was the last time Dak was in a shoot-out game where both QB drive down and keep scoring???

Never, that I can think of. It was not like the game Romo had against Peyton Manning. They went back and forth like a ping-pong game.

A hole caused by the defense that couldn’t stop Aaron Rodgers. We overcame a two score deficit to tie the game in the closing seconds in a playoff game against Rodgers and our defense choked! Had we got to OT and won the toss I believe we would have won the game because Dak and our offense was on a roll.
