Depends on the criteria. Is it purely on-field ability or does it include leadership and being a 'winner'.

Aaron Rodgers in only #5 if the lack of leadership and not really being a 'winner' type personality is included.
- With that criteria, Dak should be ranked higher.
- Obviously, with that criteria, Brady would be #1.
A "good leader" is what you call somebody when they don't have any skills to brag about, but still want to be nice.

It's like saying someone is a "hard worker" or "gym rat" instead of "we like em, but they're not that great".

Another list that confirms what many of us already knew.....

Dak Prescott is not among the best QBs in the league, but is much better than what a LOT of teams are running out there.

He gives us a chance....but it's a team game even for the best of the best.

The best are really those top 4 or 5 guys.

You're not winning many Super Bowls if your QB plays like the 9th best QB in the NFL. You need a lot to go right around you for that to happen. You need a lot of lucky breaks.

10. Lamar Jackson (BAL)
9. Dak Prescott (DAL)
8. Tom Brady (TB)
7. Russell Wilson (DEN)
6. Matthew Stafford (LAR)
5. Aaron Rodgers (GB)
4. Joe Burrow (CIN)
3. Justin Herbert (LA)
2. Patrick Mahomes (KC)
1. Josh Allen (BUF)

I feel like I've got a good chance with any of the top 8 as my QB. I would rank them differently, but these are the guys who have earned confidence that they can get it done.

Two days in a row that Dak has been ranked in the top 10 QB's.

He is going to be under a lot of pressure to win this year.

Another unsuccessful January and things will go poorly for him.

Although I agree I believe the scapegoat list to deflect the blame will be used as it always has ie OL, HC, OC, Zeke, defense and the list goes on.

That rating seems excellent for a QB who will try rebounding from a less than complete season in 2021.

Let's see if he's able to improve upon that. He's feeling chipper, so there'll be high expectations in 2022.

Lol. Anyone who picks a quarterback that had only one good season in his four year tenure at #1 over the GOAT, obviously has a man crush on Allen & loathes Brady.

I've gotten to see Allen play a lot of snaps and it will be interesting to see how he does this coming season without Daboll, who went to NY. He did a good job developing Allen and he's a much better QB than when he started. It will be a testament to Allen's progression without him. Even more, his QB coach Dorsey will be calling the plays.
This is all significant.

Why would you question Wilson? health?

Unless time has caught up with him, he is tier 1. I look for a big year out of the Denver offense with him under center.

Several reasons, time is one, but then again how long has that been said about Brady.

Wilson is very good, but he also needs a team around him. The last few years in Seattle has shown that. He benefited from some great defenses.
Will see what and how he does in Denver.

Flavor of the month. Allen got trashed his first couple of years. Remember all of the "he's inaccurate" chatter?

I'm still confused every time I see a list with Dak and Cousins separated by more than a couple spots.

He has Dak 7 spots higher than Cousins.

I wish someone would explain to me exactly what makes Dak 7 spots better than Cousins if they agree with Simms rankings.

I mean look at their numbers and what they have lead their teams to ... If you look at those things then best case scenario is they're basically the same QB. Although if you did a blind look at both guys, and showed them to a casual fan as QB:A and QB:B, and that fan knows enough about football to make an educated decision, then 9/10 would say Cousins overall resume looks better.

Just another useless opinion list to me anyway. I don't really care where who is ranked. I just think it is funny as too many take it seriously.
Some get riled up Dak it not higher, some get riled up Dak is not lower.

Some are probably mad that Dak is higher than Jackson and in the top 10. Maybe Cousins should be at 10 instead of Jackson. Or Cousins at 9, Dak at 10. It doesn't really matter.

Dak is our QB and that is who I root for, until he is replaced, then I root for that QB.

Also, until proven otherwise, Brady is better than Burrow, Stafford, and Herbert.
I think Brady is also the defacto #1 GOAT. When Brady hits his back foot and releases to an open man. There is nobody better. Still has good zip on short and intermediate crossers at his age is unbelievable.

Rewatched the DAL-TB game last night. Brady had 2 intentional groundings at the end of that game. That was garbage the refs let him do that. Also Diggs was inches away from winning the game with a pick on the last drive.
