It was Sean Payton that saw something in romo and lobbied to sign him. The year that Payton left and went to the Saints he tried to trade for Romo. When he couldnt he traded for Drew Brees.
I looked it up to make sure, but Brees signed with the Saints as a free agent. The Chargers drafted Brees' replacement a year before then Brees hurt his shoulder.

But I do remember Payton wanting Romo.

Parcells quit and did nothing for Romo other let him rot on the bench while he played a washed up Bledslow and a washed up Testicleverde.
Can’t argue that.

Bills biggest mistake was not drafting a franchise QB going with his old washed up veterans.

Romo had Garrett, a guy who "wasn't much on x's and o's". how's that garrett working out. Are teams still lining up to grab the great clapper?
Apparently you remember who said that. I do remember someone saying teams will be lining up for Garrett, but don't know who it was.

Thats still trying. Im sure he is happy with who he got.

But I do wonder what Romo's career would have been like had he played for Payton in New Orleans. He might be in the HOF.
It’s tough to say. But if he was only offering a third maybe he wouldn’t have started for Saints and rode his career on the bench behind Brees.

Seens like if his intent was to start Romo he’d of stepped up.

So this is another "let's celebrate Tony Romo (even though it's been 6 years since he retired) because Dak doesn't do it for me" thread???

Offering a 3rd for an undrafted QB is probably all the GM or owner would allow him to do.

Romo made Romo. Remember when Romo jumped the pile in a preseason game. Parcells didn't like that. Romo changed the plays so much on Garrett and company that they just started inviting him to the coaches meetings. Romo was his own person. He was going to do what he thought best. So, Romo made Romo.

Romo had to change the plays because JG sucked as an OC.

I just tuned in to see Jessica Simpson and Kerry Underwood. It started back in the Landry days... figured maybe some weren't aware it was on.

I still like watching Jessica in that car washing video. Lol

And I can’t stand her . She looks awful now.

Every time I see Carrie not Kerry I think she’s been banged by Romo. Carrie is kinda hot for a skinny girl. I like curvy women though with some double D. Just like my wife . Lol
