Yes, pretty sure it was all older stuff but I hadn't seen it all....
My wife is watching some crap and I don’t feel like going to Cave. Fri night is her night for TV. I’m outside broiling some grass fed tenderloin . Watching dog chase rabbits and squirrels . Big evening. Lol

I'm watching Romos football life episode. It brings back how much I liked his game and the teams we had built but it was obvious injuries took him out. To his credit, he handled it like a pro. That back crunch he took was nasty. I think we got super lucky that Dak fell into our lap at the right time and is the type of individual that can handle the pressure that comes with being cowboys QB. HIs poise was the first thing I liked about him. It's obvious when even more 'skilled' qbs have come in and melt under the lights in Dallas.

It's funny to watch the fan fallout that has become the Dak/Romo hate/love debates. Both of them are good enough IMO and are not the sole reason we can't seem to get over the hump. Many things have remained the same through both of their tenures, the teams having to always come back from deficits in important games being one of them. The other, allowing team to have their way with our defense in the running game.

When teams consistently come out flat in big games and have to come from behind after sleep walking seems like a coaching thing to me. It's the thing that I miss most about Jimmy. Our teams usually came out hot and if they didn't strike the first blows they always responded. Recently we've seemed to come out flat early and then wake up as time is running out. Both Romo and Dak lead teams have that in common. Whose fault is that?

Romo had to change the plays because JG sucked as an OC.
No. Romo changed plays because he loved to disobey his coaches at times and instead be a gambler. Remember, Romo did it before he even became a starter in 2006. I believe it was a preseason game when he changed the play in the huddle and decided to go for a QB keeper in the Red Zone. It worked, but Parcells was furious about it.

How did it work out overall in the end?

ANSWER:
In the end he was one of the most successful Undrafted QB’s in NFL history despite his fumbling, bumbling , choking and whatever else you want to trash him about.

And this is coming from the guy who bashed all of the homers who were crying over his resigning letter which got me banned from the site .

I always tell it like it is. Brutal honesty.

The same as it has been working out for Dak.

Unless Dak gets smart and moves to another team they will both end up the same. Both were put up stats but couldn't win when it mattered.
Yea, it’s looking much the same as far as results go.

I guess not bad considering we haven’t really even tried to draft a franchise QB since Quincy Carter and our dysfunctional ownership and his puppets stringing us along being #1 Revenue team in the world . It is what it is. Lol

Y’all wake me up when Jethro is gone . If I’m still alive I might go to his funeral just make sure they bury him.

It's been a continuation and neither qb has been the problem but they will get the blame, that's why they get the big bucks.

They’ve carried a dysfunctionally ran franchise to keep our head barely above water. Not bad for two guys who shouldn’t have ever been starters.

On the other hand without them maybe the Cowboys would have fallen off the cliff and Jethro would have had to bow out or sell out.

I think we have captain crash cornered. He's in the girls bathroom.

What is his other name here? I know him well.
IDK. I had to finally ignore him.

Meanwhile you have the top thread on the forum.
