1 year 1 million guaranteed with up to 4 million in incentives.

What's the worst that could happen?

Really only need him the first 4 to 5 weeks of the season for when Gallup is still missing games.

If he's healthy for the playoffs that would be a huge plus for the offense.

Julio Jones is
- through
- useless
- washed up
- broken down
- done
- finished
- kaput
- over and done
- over the hill
- shot

What is your rationale and proof that Julio is getting himself ready for another NFL campaign?

Just cause he was a superstar at one time is not an indication that he is ready to be that player or any semblance of an NFL player anymore.

I'm not trying to shoot down your proposal, but rather challenging you for validated evidence that he would be an actual asset to the Cowboys for the first 5 weeks other than a warm body collecting a check.

Do anybody think he could move inside to be a pretty good receiving TE??

Other than the TEs they don't have that big bodied red zone threat. It would have to be a cheap deal but I wouldn't mind him in the WR room that could use some veteran leadership. As an aside, it's just incredible how quickly WR's like Julio and Dez go from All-Pro's to fans not even wanting them on a cheap one year deals. It's a brutal league.

Maple Leaf: Many fans just throw out a former great player's name without researching what has gone on with that player's last few seasons -specifically his production, and injuries - both incurred and lingering.

What type of numbers J12B thinks Jones would have to produce to get 4X the "prosposed" offer?
[$1 miilion contract is just 55% increase over NFL minimum 1 season salary $660 K]

“What’s the worst that could happen”

Fans would go nuts if one of the Jones’ said that but fans here say it all the time like it’s a valid reason.

Be smarter.

You literally said that he is through and washed up in another post.

Now all of sudden this guy who is a "has been" is going to command offers from multiple teams and have a much a higher market.

You just contradicted yourself little buddy.

He might be OK in certain situations / limited reps, but tbh if we were to sign him it means Tolbert is not ready.

No contradtion, dude.
My point is - Julio Jones is not worth the Cowboys - or any of the other 31 teams - bringing him into their training camp ANY PRICE.
