Yes and as you eloquently told us yesterday those 40 years apparently led you to conclude Tom Brady got lucky seven times.
He was lucky to be on that team..Dan Marino didn'thave the same luck!...

Sometimes, the truth comes out in whichever way nature intends it to. This time, it's via the mouth of a young babe. Maybe Tristen Diggs might very well be embarrassed by the way in which it occurred. I think it's nature's way of the truth coming to the fore for Zeke to deal with. It might well turn out to be a fortuitous event to spur Zeke's awareness of what he must do to succeed in the near future. Sometimes, the truth gets out in strange ways. ;)

Pollard was hurt and didn't play. The team was trying to maintain their competitive edge and build momentum headed into the playoffs. You really think they played all of the defensive starters so Zeke could get 1000 yards? Explain to me how starting all of your defensive starters helps Zeke get 1000 yards.

Where any of the starters hurt that they played?

When they pulled their starters they pulled Zeke. How many others were hurt...I not sure, you tell me.

I dont know buddy. You brought it up.

I think the whole coaching staff were idiots. And to top it off, they wanted Dak to get his 37th passing TD to break the team record. So it was all laughable.

But lets not pretend that Zeke was "toughing it out with heart". It was 100% personal agenda driven.

Now wouldnt this be the week to give Pollard his due and let him run wild?

Poor guy. Amazing how much he gets cr@pped on by the coaches and Zeke.

He is the better runner and they treat him like a bad a chips.

Pollard had been nursing a foot injury since December. He did not play in that game. Ito Smith and Corey Clement were the other RB's in that game, IIRC. McCarthy had told the media earlier in the week that the starters were going to play. Did he make that decision because they wanted to chase stats or because the wanted to keep their competitive edge and momentum?

But if he wanted to chase stats for the offense then why risk the defensive starters? Parsons, Tank, Diggs...all of those guys played in that game. So I tend to think they wanted some momentum going into the playoffs. Everyone knew Philly was sitting there starters, so why not go out and dominant that game then go into the playoffs feeling unbeatable. That makes more sense than risking injuries to starters just to chase stats.

Let’s DON’T have in-fighting, fer chissake. And def not between active players and the snot-nosed kids of active players. Please! Let’s TRY to maintain a little dignity within the francise. OR - we could devolve down to the level of a gossip rag like The National Enquirer.

Forget about all those so-called expert analyst. Proof it doesn't take an expert to see reality. Aaiden, now 5, has not shied away from criticizing players, not even his own dad, another aspect that has endeared him to NFL fans everywhere. His mom, Stephanie in a SI interview said that Aaiden admonished Dallas Cowboys' running back Ezekiel Elliott at a birthday party, telling him, “Zeke, you don’t run very hard! You don’t hit the holes very hard!”

While Elliot faced no shortage of criticism last season from both fans & analysts alike, perhaps what Aaiden told him at that birthday party spurred something inside him that pushes him to do his best. Unfortunately, something tells me otherwise.

Lol, sounds to me like Aaiden is the only person around to hold the players accountable. Get him the HC job immediately!!! Seriously tho, Big Diggs and Little Diggs were the highlights of last season. I love that kid. He's so cute and open. Normally I hate it when athletes expose their kids to the media but Aaiden Diggs is awesome. Great kid, and funny. I love seeing how happy and proud he is of his dad when his dad makes a play. I love that type of stuff.

How can you be so blind as to think that Zeke was gutting it out for the good of the team?

The reality is he wouldnt sit for selfish reasons. We didnt need Zeke. Pollard was tearing it up. Zeke hurt the team by refusing to sit. And now we all know why. He wanted his 1000 yards season. Not the first time Zeke has put his own personal interests before the teams. I think its completely pathetic.
Roy, in all fairness, show me the player in the NFL that doesn't put his personal interests above the team. Is that really selfish? Personal interest is the professional athlete way. All of them.

Regardless of your point, Zeke was hurt and should have been rested.

I disagree Couch. And I am not just talking salary. Some guys are more selfish then others.

Me too lol. Good post dear. Could care less about the negative Nancy's posts in this thread. Goes to show their idiotic mentality over a child, & who just happens to be correct!

Playing hurt isnt heart, its selfish stupidity. We didnt need him to play. He simply wouldnt let Pollard get a chance to get his shine on.

As soon as Zeke went over 1000 yards in the last game he came out. Speaks for itself.

That is not on Zeke. That is on the organization. I’m speaking more about Zeke understanding his role and doing what is asked of him.

People like to assume this is Zeke being selfish. I would wager it’s the organization being stupid
