Zeke was having a good year, got hurt, sucked it up and kept playing. He could have checked it in and collected his paycheck....he has my respect.

What I appreciate about Zeke is that he always gives 110% and lays it all on the line whether that be helping by blocking or running

It really is a double standard. He looked great early in the season, was even making the edges. Then he got hurt and the entire offense collapsed. His choice was to gut it out and leave bad film behind. I put it on the coaches for not sitting him.

That makes sense to you?

"This game means nothing to playoff seeding, but since Pollard is hurt we must play our "injured" starting RB instead. Because the BACK UP must rest up, not the starter."

Yeah. I'm sure Zeke was their only option so they had to play him "injured".
So they played all of their starters on both offense and defense, but they only put Zeke in so he could gain 1000 yards.
:lmao2:
That's laughable.

I was a player or coach for about 40 years! What the hell do you know? I appreciate the hustle and his love for the game.....blame the coaches! Not him....he could have sat on his butt and get paid....he didn't. I respect that! What don't you understand! Have you ever played?
I dont think Zeke had much say in the matter when he was left obviously in the backfield blocking for Dak.
Dak would have sustained far more substantial exposure to injury if it hadnt been for Zekes blocking.
Peeps are upset for the amount of cap Zeke represents, for the lack of yards and stats, but Zeke spends a few reps taking care of some dirty business.
Redemption is Zekes calling card this season, Im saying right now it will be his best, as we have a decent rebuild upfront taking place, and big if at Center, but we have comp there.
If this OL can take care of their business, I see no way that Zeke and Pollard cant both share career numbers.

If this team improves in those areas specifically this teams entire dynamics change.
Those are my two primary areas of concern entering camp and what I will be focusing on as much as possible.

So with all your worldly coaching knowledge you respect a RB playing hurt in a meaningless last game of the season against 3rd string philly guys taking 20 carries just to get 1000 yards? When you know the very next week you play SF in a home playoff game?

I really dont give two #$%$##$ whether you played or coached or were in the hall of fame. Any fool can get on here and claim they played for 30 years. LOL

Zeke remains a selfish turd and it showed 100% this year.

If you can't see the appreciation for the sport the hustle the love for the game in a player then you shouldn't be commenting

Obviously not. LOL

"Duh, I coached for 80 years and forgot more football then you know"

Your either a hopeless homer a complete liar. Because based on your ability to understand football and analyze talent, either one sounds about right.

Love for the game? How about giving your RB partner an opportunity to carry the torch for a few games? How about putting the team before your personal yard goals?

This fool wasnt going for a rushing title. It was to get to 1000 yards. LOL

Oh yah, what a hero.

Playing hurt isnt heart, its selfish stupidity. We didnt need him to play. He simply wouldnt let Pollard get a chance to get his shine on.

As soon as Zeke went over 1000 yards in the last game he came out. Speaks for itself.

I had a player that play a game with no ACL because he didn't want to let his friends down...I've had 7 surgeries on and 5 concussions because of this game.....I respect him for playing and not collecting a paycheck......

Not when its for selfish reasons. Zeke hurt the team by refusing to share the RB duties while he was hurt.

If your sitting here telling me you wouldn't sit a hurt Zeke when you have pollard sitting there ready to play, then I say BS.

Wow.....you have no clue!

Yep, and as a coach, you just got your @zz fired. Zeke just ran for 50 yards in your home playoff game because you didnt let him rest the week before in a meaningless game.
