Ripping Dak and praising Lamar Jackson in the same breath is peak stupidity. Dak needs to do better but Lamar Jackson is truly the most overrated player in the league. Dude doesn’t throw a ball any better than most 3rd string guys.
This. Another QB that cant beat a good defense from the pocket.

I d be interested to know if Canty still talks to players in the organization. I believe the Cooper story. I don't care what you believe.

oh I'm a flailing sports anchor that isn't a house hold name, here let me say something about the Dallas Cowboys and or one of their players. Boom instant attention.

Agree to some extent. Dallas obviously boosts him highly and keeps him in the spot light as would any quarteback that would start for us.

If you switched Cousins and Dak. Cousins would be rated in Daks spot and you wouldn't hear a peep about Dak really simply because of "Dallas"

Lamar Has completed 64.1% of his passes in his career at a clip of 7.5 ypa. On top of that, last year he was on pace for 4000 yards passing if he didn’t get hurt, and had a TD% of 6.3… that would have been third in the entire league if he qualified. He’s 37-12 as a starter and has a TD-to-INT ratio of 2.7-to-1.

That’s what third string QBs do? This isn’t hating, this is ignorance.

His completion % is at 64.1% when he has only thrown the ball more than 400 times in a season once. When put into context, his accuracy is questionable. Passing yards are pretty meaningless now and he threw 13 INTs to 16 TDs last year. He didn't look very good and he wasn't very good in 2020 either.

Chris Canty...the overrated, over-drafted flunkie with a crooked looking eye who did absolutely nothing for the Cowboys.

He’s had some injury issues, yes. He plays 1 more game in 2020 and 2021 and suddenly he has 3 consecutive years of 400 passing attempts.

A down 2021 does not mean his entire career is now a wash. In 2020 he had 26 TDs to 9 picks. 67 QBR. 99 passer rating. That is not a “third string QB”
