Outside of Cowboys fans, I don't think many people over-rate him. Most have him in the top 10-12 range, which is pretty fair.
Yawn! Canty's big resume....
Dallas 2005-2008
Giants 2009-2012
Ravens 2013-2015
This. Another QB that cant beat a good defense from the pocket.Ripping Dak and praising Lamar Jackson in the same breath is peak stupidity. Dak needs to do better but Lamar Jackson is truly the most overrated player in the league. Dude doesn’t throw a ball any better than most 3rd string guys.
Multiple executives, coaches, scouts and players think he's top 10... thats more than a "few". Also their opinions hold more weight than randoms on fan forums with self proclaimed "expert" football eye.not overrated at all. there are only a few people actually think he's top 10. most of us know better.

Go kiss his ring. He's not wrong, ya know?
Lamar Has completed 64.1% of his passes in his career at a clip of 7.5 ypa. On top of that, last year he was on pace for 4000 yards passing if he didn’t get hurt, and had a TD% of 6.3… that would have been third in the entire league if he qualified. He’s 37-12 as a starter and has a TD-to-INT ratio of 2.7-to-1.
That’s what third string QBs do? This isn’t hating, this is ignorance.
His completion % is at 64.1% when he has only thrown the ball more than 400 times in a season once. When put into context, his accuracy is questionable. Passing yards are pretty meaningless now and he threw 13 INTs to 16 TDs last year. He didn't look very good and he wasn't very good in 2020 either.
