Twitter: In defense of Ezekiel Elliott

Not sure the obsession with this guy. RBs fall off quickly, nature of the position. Nothing really to defend or mysterious. He had a season and a half of elite play in the NFL and then became a good RB before injuries started to nag him. More news at 11.

I think most posters argument with Zeke
Is his production does not match his contract.
He also alienated a lot of fans with his hold out.

I mean he was suspended for a very petty incident and the window for a rb to get paid is so small

most of these posters would probably do the same thing and people forget one thing…..Jerry didn’t have to pay him lol

Emmitt Smith has more rushing yards than anyone is history.

Would it help us beat Tampa if we bring him back?

Elliott had some good years but it's over for the most part.

I'll keep saying it.....HOF talent and he ain't going.

Good points.
Most here were incensed over the unfair suspension.
But that hold out was a bad look for Zeke.
His lack of productivity is a killer.
Hope he balls out this year.

This is actually pretty impressive considering his phone suspension and the fact, as most people say here, he sucks now

i think he, along with Pollard, is going to have a great year

I'm a Zeke fan. But I don't care even a little bit of what he has done in the past. I care about what he can do now. I don't care if he had 5 million yards years ago.

This goes for EVERY player or just about. But fans want to single out a few players, because it is a band wagon thing to sound cool with the gang.
No offense to Kool & the Gang. :muttley:

Playing the shotgun helps Dak but not Zeke. Dak needs to get under the center a lot more, like he was doing in 2016.

Pollard’s better with the ball in his hands.

Period.
