I was surprised he wasn’t traded during draft weekend. Something must be brewing with the FO for us to keep him. We need to keep an eye open during the season. The FO must be looking at someone they really want to get us to the promise land, lol.

Imagine what 2008 would have been like if we trade Coakley to move up for McFadden. Then moved Anthony Henry to CS

Coakley was one of my favorite players during that period. Unfortuately he joined during a declining period. Though there was talent there 97 - 99 we just didn't get great returns from some draft picks to begin replacing some aging talent and culture got more laced under Switzer.

But you look at some of those rosters and think man, could have done more those few years before the wheels completly fell off. Always think back to how Randy Moss could have changed that trajectory. There would have been no Joey Galloway trade and would have had more picks to reinfuse talent.

The legend Dexter Coakley
I loved Dexter Coakley also. But I'm lost with the present tense "trade" heading. I'm sure I missed something in the meaning. I'm sitting here designing a wall connection to a suspended concrete slab on piers foundation and that thread went over my head. Dummy I guess

naw, probably just a funny thread. you're not a dummy at all. not just anybody can design a wall connected to a suspended concrete slab on a piers foundation.

Godfrey and Coakley together for that 2-3 year stretch...man they were fast and explosive as a tandem. Godfrey left and immediately was an All Pro in Tennessee
