Waay back in the day when guys like Dexter and Dat Nguyen still played for the team, Dexter was put in every trade scenario possible and impossible on this forum. So it became a running joke, and every now and then, old heads from that time like to put it out there again as a joke.

Oh, my friend, if you had only been here on this board back in the Dexter Coakley days. Lol. A Dexter Coakley trade was mentioned about as frequently as Dak love/hate threads are now.

Of course almost every proposed trade netted us twice the haul that “The Trade” (Herschel Walker Trade) netted us. Lol. Those were the days.

Yup those were the days and some of those trades were quiet outrageous if memory serves me correct. If only we could have puled off some of those trades, lol.
