One of the real knocks on Moore is the fact that he doesn’t like to lock in and rely on primary playmakers to be the engine of the offense. He likes to use multiple weapons and attack the opposite of whatever the defense decides to scheme against.
In theory, it’s nice. But in actuality you need to find the balance that prioritizes your best playermakers but also doesn’t allow defenses to ruin your gameplan by keying in on them. Moore doesn’t have that yet and that was one of Amari’s biggest issues with him. Unfortunately Coop seems to shut down a bit when he sees something he doesn’t like but he has a point.
Let’s hope he develops that this season. He’s young and growing too.
Heres a nice article about it when it was going well lol

No established identity is part of the problem. So we are in agreement on this one. When the offense starts to struggle that's when you need to showcase your identity. Let's just hope Moore figures that out before it's too late. One of the real knocks on Moore is the fact that he doesn’t like to lock in and rely on primary playmakers to be the engine of the offense. Coop would know !
Great players everywhere you can huh? Sounds like your defense will suffer the consequences of that decision. Plus the salary cap rips teams apart about every four or five years. This is year 4 as an OC but realistically only year 6? as a coach? So I guess there is still time for him to get there. I do wonder if the whole "established identity" thing is overblown a little. My established identity would be to have great players wherever I can and devise ways to kick your anus with them. If you play me run heavy I want to be good enough to light you up through the air. If you lay back I want to be good enough to grind you into paste with the running game. That's what the 90's teams were. They made you pick your poison and at the end of the day they proved they could beat you either way. It was just up to you to decide if it was going to be Gozer the Traveler or the Staypuft Marshmallow man who destroyed you!
This.. You absolutely have to be able to devise ways to get your playmakers the ball no matter what the defense is doing. Not only does Moore not do this enough he is the exact opposite. We have gone into many a game knowing where a defense was weak and failed to exploit that weakness until he had gotten through is first 10-15 scripted plays designed to "figure the defense out." Screw that.. you watch film, you prepare, you scout.. You know where you have an advantage over a defense from the opening kick. Devise your first 15 plays to attack that advantage. If the game opens with a handoff up the middle or a play action roll out pass to the tight end I know have done none of that. You're just feeling the defense out..
Losing Coop is going to hurt our Offence , No doubt about it.Amari Cooper also “knew” he was worth 100m$ to Dallas’s offense, yet many here believe you’ll be improved without him.
I’m not doubting the possibility of it coming true, but he’s just saying what people want to hear.
