What if Noah Brown is ready?

Well, I'm sort of putting my foot in my mouth at this point, because I was prepared to let Brown walk (in my deranged fan mind). But I think he really is having a good camp.

What if his problem has been the number of reps?

I can't recall him getting that many reps, so that would explain his numbers.

So . . . you could be on to something here.

That's kinda what I'm saying. Thanks.

PS, nice avatar.

He is what he is.

Quality special teamer, 4th or 5th WR.

I'm sure you are a great guy and all, but you should immediately be benched for no less than thirty (30) days for this ridiculous thought.

The claim from the OP is not really that far out of bounds, when considering the current state.
Brown has a good of a chance to make the 53 than he has ever had, considering the current comp.

Raoul Duke

Love the Gonzo style.

If I try really hard, I can pull it off sometimes.

But I can see why he often didn't complete assignments.

It takes time to get into the groove writing from that point of view.

I've always been high on Noah. I wanted Dallas to give Noah a try instead of trading for Cooper back in 2018. Noah problem is playing time and not enough of it. Just like Pollard needs more playing time, so does Noah.

Us fans should be tired of this front office saying what players can't do without giving them a chance. Conner Williams was never tried out at tackle. Williams at tackle and Collins at guard would have been better for this team. So the guys that are thinking, Noah is a blocking only slash special teamer, are worst than this front office. Give Noah a chance to start one game and let's see what happens.

Miles Austin was labeled by the same adjectives use to describe Noah. Until injuries gave Austin a chance. That's all a guy needs sometimes is a chance. So to answer the question...Yes I believe Noah is ready and I say he's been ready.

So, I should clarify.

I'm not saying Noah is someone you should draft on your FF team but I do think he could be a viable stop-gap until Gallup comes back.
Three catches a game.
For sure, he can definitely be a “hold the fort down” kinda guy for a few weeks.

My only concern would be if Tolbert struggles and Noah is solid but not anything more. Would have to be extremely creative with how we move the ball as we’d be relying on Shultz and the RB’s. Ceedee would be getting doubled heavily in this scenario.

But I do think Tolbert will step in and be a reliable player ala Vance Jefferson.

Noah Brown has been one of the biggest winners in this camp. He has been outstanding. For you to be obsessed with bad mouthing him, just makes you look very ignorant.

5 years....50 games played....39 total catches....0 TD's is all I need to know....not to mention zero bring me off the sofa "wow" plays made, This all tells me that he must have some pretty damning pics of Booger and/or Chuckles.

They have no faith in him to be a starter. He’s a very average receiver who excels on special-teams which is why he stays around.
WHat makes you say that? You KNOW they have "no faith". Sounds ridiculous.

Noah came in as a project. He had limited playing time at ohio state. But they...unlike you///watched the film and saw he had talent....especially in the red zone.

Some nagging injuries. And Dallas bringing in top WR talent ...was hard to crack into top 3.

Well...now his chance right? Best shot he ever have.

Why not try to cheer him on then, eh?

How many plays? How many targets?

He might have had a great chance to ...impress....you....Dak had him in the overtime game and missed a wide open 1st down conversion. A GREATR chance to give noah some confidence and exposure and we pooped the bed on it.

Now's a good chance....let's root for the kid if ya have it in ya.

No...you do it...I've seen enough of this fraud. I'd rather spend money for once and remove all doubt. None of us here are getting any younger.

What makes me say that? Brown has been with the team four seasons and has never caught more than 16 passes and has zero TDs. Anyone who’s been following the Cowboys knows he only continues to hold a roster spot because he excels at specialty teams and can play receiver. I can promise you the majority of the fan base wouldn’t feel confident with him as the starter and the team wouldn’t either or there wouldn’t be talk about adding another receiver and there wouldn’t be a competition going on right now. No one is saying Brown doesn’t have some talent but he’s not a starting caliber WR and it’s silly for anyone to argue otherwise.

How can you say that after watching him today and throughout training camp? That is just stupid at this point.

If he hasn't shown anything in four years, he ain't showing too much now.
