Although he goes to the sidearm too often, I still like DiNucci. I don't know if he'll make it as a backup in this league, but he's fun to watch IMO.
At least he brought a little energy tonight. Cooper played like the Walking Dead.

I don't think that was the plan. We picked up Tyler Smith and Waletzko in the draft. Smith was viewed as an LG/LT. Waletzko was viewed as a LT/swing tackle. They, along with Ball, were why we didn't not sign a vet OT. When we lost Waletzko, we should have altered that plan. Hopefully, after seeing Ball throughout this game, we will.

They took Smith to be the starting LG this year, not be some guy to yo-yo between LG and LT.

So to be clear what you are saying is their strategy at swing OT was bank on a guy who has struggled and been hurt this far in his NFL career, a late round rookie and a guy they took to be their starting LG since they had no real LG?

Oh yeah, that plan sounds much better.

No but you seems to insinuate the penalty problem tonight is largely sue to the officials.

It most decidedly is not. It’s mostly stupid, bad play from the Cowboys.

My insinuating was the refs made some questionable calls and missed some. They called our highest amount of penalties of the year last season of any crew. And the highest amount so far in preseason of any team. That's just not a coincidence.
