Game Day Preseason: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos 2nd Half

If Ball looks this bad against scrubs in the pre season, imagine him regular season vs the average NFL starter.

I'm assuming even if we stayed with the OL we have that we wouldn't put Ball in the game. I think we'd put McGovern in and shift either Martin or Smith out to tackle depending on which starter we lost.

Thing is, I'm not sure Ball deserves to be on the roster, so we might as well add a swing tackle.

Reminds me of the great original Tampa bay coach John McKay who coached the 0-16 Bucs in the late 70s. After another loss, he was asked by a reporter, “What do you think about your team’s execution?” His answer: “I’m in favor of it”.

My insinuating was the refs made some questionable calls and missed some. They called our highest amount of penalties of the year last season of any crew. And the highest amount so far in preseason of any team. That's just not a coincidence.

It’s largely due to bad play. Not the crew. The false starts were all legit. The offsides were legit. A few of the holds were legit. The two most obvious ref screw ups were the hold on Ball and the roughing on Williams.

It ain’t bad officiating here as the big issue.

We all know it’s pre-season…but this is just ridiculous and it’s not too early to say this team has a discipline problem with the penalties. Coaches need to start doing something different in practice. This is not a coincidence. It’s a real problem.
