Walking back Cross was the best part. Everything else was against the Josh Balls of the world who aren’t ready for NFL games. What he did in the 4th quarter was expected. Other than technique work, not sure why he was out there the whole time.
Probably to build his game endurance.
If he's going to be useful this year, he can't gas after the first quarter.
We'll need a steady pass rush, especially in the fourth quarter if the game is close.

I'll wait for a few regular season games before I anointed him better than Gregory talent-wise.
But as @Pass2Run said, in so many words, If Williams plays the entire season, he'll likely triple Gregory's production during the latter's time with the Cowboys.
Gregory was simply unavailable most of his time here. It won't take too much to surpass his contribution to the Cowboys.

Yeah, building endurance but also speeding his progression to, as someone just mentioned, speeding him to the point where things slow down for him.

I like the approach of the Cowboys this year with young players playing a ton.

I don't know how anyone could look at Sam right now and think he won't get at LEAST 6 sacks this season if he stays healthy.

This kid is what I thought he was when we drafted him.

He's going to have an impact with teams focusing on Parson. Williams has been working on his pass rush moves. From what I've heard, the Cowboys wanted him to simply work on simple pass rushing in the Seattle game. If he puts it all together - endurance, pass-rushing moves and game-speed - teamed with Parsons, I think it's conceivable for him to have seven sacks or more.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Seems we're on the same page with the sack count. I posted my comments about 7 sacks before I read your prediction. :)

Best owner? Probably not. He's made a lot of money as an owner but as the owner, he's seen his team do squat for 25 seasons and still employs the same GM, who has largely failed at his job.
He is in the HOF as an owner and has 3 Super Bowls.

Sure...it should have been 4 and it was his fault we didn't...but still haha

Jerry is largely in the Hall of Fame due to his contributions to the league - he was a driving force between the massive increase in revenues, etc. He had a vision for the league and helped bring the league to the point they are now.

He's not in the Hall of Fame because they see him as some sort of awesome football mind.

Right...as an owner. He also turned the Cowboys into the most valuable franchise in sports.

He has his flaws, as everyone does, but i wouldn't trade him for any other owner because he cares.

Jerry's biggest flaw is that he overvalues his own skill as a GM. That fact is reflected in the lack of any success in the last 25 years when the postseason rolls around.

The fact he cares is meaningless because it hasn't translated into high level success since he has taken over all football operations after Jimmy was sent packing.
