I suggested the best move for the oline would be to move Tyron Smith to LG and have Tyler Smith compete and learn LT. That way the best 5 were on the line and injury riddled

Everyone hated that idea and insulted me.

And look where we are now.

You should have gotten hammered. It was a laughable idea. Even now. This line would have been much better with Tyron at LT and Tyler at guard.

Tyler Smith played LT 3 seasons in college. But according to the OP he still needs to learn the position.

What is it you dont get buddy? He needs lots of work on technique. Then there is the speed of the game and the talent level. Strength. A lot easier to play guard than LT. So as he is learning he can have an easier time at guard and he doesnt get exposed as much. You put him out there at LT in the NFL this early and its a huge difference.

He has to play guard.

I'm really worried they are getting ready to blow this.

Buddy, its already blown. Doesnt matter where he plays. Its over. Any chance we had of having a great year went when Smith went down.

What does it say about a team when losing it's left tackle flushes the season?

(I'm not disagreeing with you, btw)

nope still in the ridicule lane you use TS77 as swing tackle until he retires. Nice insurance.tjhat my idea.. play less snaps= less injury's, yet hes available for the payoff run if needed again the better teams Pass rushers :).

Moving Tyron would have kept him injury free. I mean that non contact injury was 100% preventable. And only happened bc he was playing LT

It means our Oline was thin to begin with and our backups suck. Means alot of things actually. Means we have a RB that cant make plays without a great Oline. Means we have an OC that cant adjust. Means we have a GM thats a complete moron.

I hope thats sarcasm because well no way to prevent a non contact no matter what position you play..
his last 2 injury's player rolled up the back of his leg and now non contact. Kind of hard to call that injury prone or pereventable.,just **** happens moments.
