I am going to create an official CZ Poll for who the Cowboys should get to play quarterback this season until Dak returns.

Before I do that, I wanted to get opinions from everyone on who to include.

I already plan to add ..

Ben Denucci
Will Grier
Cooper Rush

The only rule is it must be a player who 1) is a free agent, 2) is on another team's practice squad, or 3) is currently on another team but is considered a backup quarterback, not the starter so a trade is at least possible.

Suggestions?

Not a suggestion for who should be the QB, but perhaps a QB thread that includes all the posts about Dak.

There are already a lot of Dak threads but, I just imagine, there will be many, many threads to come.

Side suggestion: maybe you add what it might cost for the player too. Like many people may vote Garoppolo, but that dude will cost a 2 or a 3, which may sway voters

I'm going to take the time right now to beat my drum and pound my chest. Here's what I would have done this off-season. First off, I would have kept Collins and Cooper while getting rid of DLaw. I would have re-signed Wilson instead of Gallup. And I would have re-signed Gregory after I restructured Cooper. My draft would have looked like this...

1) QB Desmond Ridder
2) OT Abraham Lucas
3) TE Charlie Kolar
4) LG Marcus Hayes
5) DE Isaiah Thomas

Then a CB, a LB, and a, DT.

Drafting a QB in the first would have been for psychological reasons. One...to give Dak some competition. Two...to let the team know that if anything happened to Dak, we still have a chance.

So my off-season sounds way better than the one the front office provided for us.
