Coop one of the premier route runners in football. Film footage of his game showed with a capable QB he would of easily had a 100yard game. Draws massive attention away from others.

Hell how many film breakdowns show Coop wide open last year when Dak didn't even look his way? I remember at least 3.

Can't put up yards even your QB looks thr other way and doesn't focus his WR1 reciever or have a trash tier QB now.

Bottom line is both Cleveland and Miami have more wide receiver talent then us, partly because we got rid of 2 guys who would be starters here.

We don't know that, they replaced Coop when they drafted Ceedee, Gallup, will replace Ceedee as 2, and Washington/Tolbert will replace Wilson. We haven't seen Gallup,Washington, Tolbert on the field yet.

While it’s great in theory, the hypothetical may not play out that way. What if in 2 years Cooper is clearly the superior receiver over Lamb? He’ll be making much less than Lamb will demand from the market and he’s still only 28. They had good reason to trade him; but it was definitely a gamble.

It was in the plans when they signed Coop, not saying it was good or bad, just saying they are being ultra conservative as possible.

Also one of the worst wide receivers as far as leadership. It’s not all about talent.

It was a foolish gamble, based on the future, and without thought to winning now. It feels funny even calling it a trade, it was a salary dump.

Amari needed someone more accurate throwing him the ball. Really Lamb does too and losing Amari is going to hurt him. Almost every #1 cornerback in the league runs a 4.3-4.4, Lambs not a speedster so he needs accurate passes on time. On time being the key. A healthy Gallop is who Dak needs but I don't think he really makes an impact this year. Look they didn't scheme to get Amari the ball consistently. What good is having a best or 1 receiver if you don't use em like that.

Amari only had 10 games Dak or backup targeted him more than 10x

Amari averaged 136 yards per game.


In those games he scored 9 TDs

Amari went over 1100 with Dalton

Cooper got Dak paid and then failed him.

I don't think it's fair to pass judgement after 1 game. Much like Dak's and Rodgers awful week 1 performances.

Funny how that's fair for ex-players now playing for another team, but not for Dak and our current players.

Cooper has the best run game in the NFL and the best Oline in the NFL for play action and time for his routes.

Lamb has 1.2 seconds to try and get open behind this patchwork line, no run game for play action and one of the worst coordinators in the NFL.

And with Gallup he has no one to take away the pressure. And now he has who? Cooper Rush throwing to him? LOL
