I think everyone knew he wouldn't play in that game, but they're counting the days until Dak's back. If you're hoping Rush takes the job, good luck. Remember who runs this team.

Stephen explicitly said the Washington and LA games are more realistic. I kinda almost spit out my coffee.

If Dak's ready to come back, then whatever. I just hope he isn't feeling pressure from the FO to come back before he's medically ready. I still have flashbacks of Romo coming back (in what I thought was way too early) in that 2015 Thanksgiving Game against Carolina. And of course my Panthers buddies still give me crap for that game to this day.

LOL when tweedle dee and tweedle dumb floated the possibly Dak could be back by the Giants, anyone who believed them was a fool. First and foremost, the Jones are salesmen and they always trying to sell something more positive than what's reality. So amongst despair that the Cowboys lost their starting QB, the Jones sell some BS about how he'll be back really soon. Of course, it's unlikely but the Jones don't care what you think two weeks from now. They are only concerned with massaging the message now.

It's the same thing with Gallup it is looking like. When criticism over their WR decisions popped up, they kept talking about how Gallup will be back in record time. But as it stands now, he's not even cleared to actually go through a full practice and from what I read over the weekend, probably won't be cleared for full practice this week either.

Can I say, even if he was healed, he still needs to regain strength to throw. You bring him back too early, he can fracture again. Ask Tony Romo.

Stephen back tracking on what he was hyping yesterday in his pregame interview? Didn't he say it was possible Dak plays vs the Giants?

Seems like a lot of selling hope for those boys. Also, Dak is no savior but ppl are acting like he is haha...defense and run game is the formula for this team to win.
