Being from New Orleans, I remember the Paper bag on Saint fans heads. Another reason why I grew up in a family of Cowboy fans. The Saints would beat a playoff team or Super Bowl team in the regular season and then lose to the Tampa Bay Buccanners who had 26 game losing streak...https://bucswire.usatoday.com/2018/12/11/bucs-history-0-26-streak-saints/

As a Cowboy fan I remember the 1992 season when Jimmy Johnson told his staff that he knew they could beat the Commanders (superior opponent Super Bowl Champs), but he is worried about the Giants (the next game vs an inferior opponent). Well after almost losing to the Giants being up by 34 points, the Cowboys won and Jimmy was right to be worried with a Giant comeback that almost was 34-28.

The Saints used to always beat the team they should have lost too and loss to the team they should have beaten. This is the situation the Jonesboys must face and not fail on Monday night. The Cowboys will face a Giant team that even with their 2-0 start are favored to beat.

Any team can get hyped to beat a superior opponent one time i.e. Buster Douglass, 70'-80's Saint teams but can you keep the championship for the next fight or beat the team you should beat? Well this week the Giants are Buster Douglas and the Jonesboys are basking in a great win over a Super Bowl team.

Can this Jonesboys team play again like they know they have Cooper Rush at QB and put in extra effort needed or will the Giants give them an extremely hard to over come divisional loss? I am worried about the Giants.

It is a divisional rival. At their house.
Our defense always have trouble with mobile QB's. The y did a great job containing Burrow with a poor OL.
Jones is mobile and fast, and his OL is probably better. Have the improved there, I have no idea.

Also, Jones does not have any targets as Burrow has. His biggest weapons is his legs, and at times can make s a few throws. Then there is Barkley, it seems he has his burst back.
Contain them 2, and our defense if it is as good as we think or hope it is. We should be fine there.

Can our offense score points on their defense. NYG defense over the last few years looked good at times, just ok otherwise. Have they truly improved upon that. How can we move the ball on them.
However Bengals defense is not horrible either.

Of course I am concerned about this game.

Dallas has played Brady and Burrow with really good receivers.

And given up two total touchdowns.

Now....Daniel Jones. Easy pickings.

However, the Cowboys don't score much.

So, we've got a situation here.

We should be worried about every team on our schedule. No way can you chalk up wins for this Cowboys team. It’s going be a battle every week regardless who we play.

Yes.
And that game against Detroit all of a sudden looks to be a much tougher game than expected.
However the Minnesota game looks easier...but they will not be that horrible against us.

Should be a low scoring game, FG's and coaching might be the difference. Thier defense is stout and playing well, Giants offense, just enough to win. Home field advantage will help in this one. They are hungry to go 3-0 but if KM comes up with a nice game plan that they are not expecting, maybe we pull it off.:flagwave:

Dallas has more playmakers, they should win. I’m thinking Dallas may win big on Monday, setting us up for an inevitable letdown in Washington.

Minnesota doesn’t look any easier regardless what happened to them last night. They pounded Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on opening day. The NFL is a week to week league and if you’re not ready to play or don’t have your best game it could be a long day.

This is a 3D Deacon Daily Double. Giants are favored bc of the home field nod. Take the Boys and the points.

Contain them 2,

Exactly right. Jones & Barkley can kill you on the ground. If you keep them under control, you have a good shot to keep their score low. I think we can do this.

Not sure what to think of their D at this point but we know they always seem to play us tough regardless of their talent level. Probably comes down to us making enough plays against their D.

With a backup QB, the margin for error is slim. They used all of that margin versus the Bengals.

I am worried about the Cowboys. Honestly, I don't see Cooper Rush going undefeated in his career. He played okay against the Bengals but he wasn't exactly a star. Maybe in his 3rd start he puts together a better performance, or teams pick up on his weaknesses and exploit them.

I would like to see the Cowboys defense creating more turnover though. they have 2 after 2 games.
