So are we supposed to announce to our opponents that Gallup won't be playing early in the week? Or is that only for when you want to complain about that another week?

You can put whatever spin on this you want. Any sane person knew that the Cowboys weren't being truthful when there were claims Gallup might be back by now (even before now).

Jerry and Stephen should shut up about when players are going ot be back. I mean just last week they hinted that Dak might be back in like two weeks. And people believed them.

Couple questions here,,,, Do we no why they released Houston....are they bringing up Peters? Then who and the heck are the starting WR's now.
We can have Houston back anytime we want him, no other teams are interested, they have their own version already on waivers like we do with Houston.

Gallup (knee) is expected to be inactive for Monday's divisional matchup against the Giants, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Gallup practiced in full leading up to Monday's contest, so for a moment his status appeared to be trending in the right direction, but the wideout is now expected to miss another game before presumable returning to action in Week 4. However, an official word on Gallup's status may not come until roughly 90 minutes before Monday's 8:15 p.m. EDT kickoff. If Gallup is unavailable Monday, Noah Brown will once again be set for a key role on offense.

OL Jason Peters will make his Cowboys debut tonight, source said. Don’t look for him at left tackle — future is now, as rookie first-round pick Tyler Smith continues to grow and impress. Peters to be on pitch count if he plays. LG a possibility.

Kind of makes me wonder you let Rush practice with Gallup all week and then you pull him.

maybe it's a good thing what comes out of Jerry's mouth is a lie... or maybe this is MM taking control of the team's narrative

So no Dak, No Schultz, No Gallup, No Tyron. SMH injuries stink
but we knew that going into this week that we wouldn't have those guys.
if they handle their business...they'll win.

Booger said 2 1/2 weeks ago that if the first game was the playoffs, Gallup would be playing....tonite pretty much is the playoffs....in fact, the next 3 games kind of are....Philly has a cake schedule, and if we fall behind them by anymore than 2 games in the next few weeks, we are toast. Which to be honest, we already are....just don't wanna be a downer. This season was over after the Free Agency deadline ended.

If Gallup needs more time, fine. I just have 2 problems. 1. Why practice all week with Rush throwing to him and then yank him out of the lineup. Its gonna screw up Rush's confidence. 2.How much more improvement will Gallup make in 6 more days? Its Monday night, they play Wash. early Sun afternoon.

Here's my question and maybe some of the beats updated us on this but how much did Gallup actually practice? I know the Cowboys were saying he was probably full bore but honestly, did Gallup really work as if it was a normal week? Or were they still cautious with him? I trust what the Cowboys say about as often as I would eat a bowl of cat poop.

He almost has to be.

In both passing and running game.
I was dreaming a bit, I admit, but Ferguson and Hendershot both showed hands, let them have some looks and lets play a big O scheme.
Would love to see this OL and running game give the Giants what everyone is saying they are going to give us with Barkley.
We shut down Barkley and reverse the table and pound their weak DL with a good ground game we walk away with this one easily.
