I doubt we'd want to sign OBJ.
1. He's going to cost too much.
2. Our offense, as it's currently moving, is going to be a spread-it-around offense. OBJ wants the ball thrown to him else he starts pouting. We don't need that.
3. The Boyz are trying to develop Cee Dee as the No. 1 receiver. I think OBJ's presence retards Cee Dee's development.

Second, Tyron isn't going to retain his LT position. The Tyler Smith era has begun. Let TS continue to develop at LT. That's what we need most.

Third, OBJ is a shell of his former self. You're not going to be getting the OBJ whose one-hand catch put him on the national map. Nice dream, but that guy is gone. He's the Zeke Elliott of receivers now.
He won’t cost too much for a SB push I don’t think. Probably have to outbid a few teams though.

He's going to the highest bidder on some WR needy team like the Colts, Giants or Tampa. Some other teams as well. Does anyone think Dallas gets into that anymore?

My money is on OBJ rejoining the Rams. He lives in LA, knows their playbook, and Robinson isn't doing much for them.

(How so? Did you watch the superbowl? He is absolutely better than Noah brown... put OBJ in the slot he is uncoverable...)

Amari Cooper is better than Noah Brown. But Jerry didn't want him either.
It's not just about talent. It's about fit.
OBJ doesn't fit what the Cowboys want to do. And I think OBJ thinks he's still a superstar receiver.
He's not.

He is going to want to get paid. His last contract he made a weird stipulation that he receives his full payment through bitcoin. So after taxes he was paid roughly 750,000 in bitcoin. Which was great until bitcoin plummeted. So he's definitely going to want to make up some of that money he lost from the last contract since he basically played for free after the bitcoin stocks dropped. I kind of felt bad for him with how it all shaped out. Seemed like a good idea but who would have known bitcoin would plummet that bad.

So he's injured, a primmadonna AND stupid.

Any financial advisor worth his salt would have told his client to stay away from bitcoin. My financial advisor said folks who invested in bitcoin are trying to lure others in so they can recoup their investment and get out, just like a pyramid scheme. Seems like my financial guy was right seeing how there are many reports of people losing money.

When have you known Jerry to outbid any team for a player's services - outside Deion Sanders, that is?

Got $4.5mil from the RAMs
and got a ring...

lol... Dude has maade $82mil and I feel like he hasn't played like 3 full seasons of missed games or more. I might be wrong on that... but it feels like it.

You know that's one of the first things I said to myself, "where was his financial advisor?". He got screwed. Hopefully he gets his money back but it wouldn't have been a move I would have made.

As far as signing him to the roster. No thanks. He's a headache along the lines of Gregory and Collins. Maybe a splash play here or there but not too much upstairs.

Nope, not the player he used to be. Why not wait and see how things play out? Cooper is playing well with the guys they currently have. I'm sure Dak will too

Dallas should get him in for the playoff push... (yes playoffs or what you playing for)...

We will have tyron back and Peter's (if no injury) more game ready... adding OBJ will push us in superbowl contention with this defense... I like Lamb, Gallup and OBJ (physical pending) against anybody including the bills...

He said he won’t play here unless Cooper is QB.

OBJ has a great relationship with the Rams and will re-sign there I bet

the same people who knew the S&P and Nasdaq would crash. If he was smart he would ask for payment in Bitcoin again.
He probably already shelled that 750,000 anyway.

First thing you learn in money management - learn how to say NO!. Doesn't mean you can't be generous, but know your investments and know your limits.

A lot of these guys come from poor upbringings, never learned how to save and use their money wisely. A part of saving is learning not to spend all of your money, say "no" to things you don't need because you're investing in the future.

Then the "boyz" come around and start sponging off you or wanting you to invest in their "new" schemes. Then shame you with the "He done forgot where he came from" shtick. And because these players can't say "no," they invest in Skeet Man's car wash-foot massage-fried chicken joint because Skeet Man says it's gonna be fi-yah! And then the player loses his money because he followed the wrong advice.

There's no one who makes over $10 million in the NFL should go broke - not with the right investments. And, yet, it happens. All ... the ... time. :(
