Do you prefer the Cowboys be flashy and loud, or blue-collar and quiet?

I believe Barry Sanders was trying to please his pops because he was always told Jim Brown was the best and a story emerged I think.
Something about when ya score a touchdown act like you've been there before.

I always loved how Barry casually tossed the ball back to the refs after scoring a TD. No matter how many defenders ankles he broke getting to the endzone, lol

Humility by athletes is refreshing.

Especially in this me first society we live in nowadays.
We’ll said!

As we all know, the Cowboys have always had a reputation for being Hollywood-ish. Loudmouthed in the 1990s, Jimmy guaranteeing victory over San Fran, the debauchery, glamor, ratings, media hype, etc.

I suspect many of us here are San Antonio Spurs fans too like I am, and they are the polar opposite of the Cowboys - a low key, well disciplined, blue collar, quiet but highly successful team (until recently.) Generally, I prefer the blue-collar type and dislike flash and hype. But the Cowboys brand is fundamentally high-profile and attention-grabbing.

So, if you could choose, would you rather the Cowboys be glamorous and loud, or low-key?
I Vote, low key

I would rather have the persona of the 5 championship teams.
The bravado, big talk amd hype are just sod, empty blather.

Let's see, who were the big mouths of a Cowboys history(does Duane Thomas qualify?) and rebels who weren't quickly admonished by their QBs.
I wish Dak had half the smarts and half the leadership qualities of Staubach/Aikman. Amen.

I prefer anyone showing his class on the job before even thinking of going public with his attitude.

If they won continuous championships they could be the dorks of the league on social media, I wouldn't care.

But since they are completely irrelevant when it comes to success in the post season they should all just shut the F up and do their job.

I hate loud mouths who just can't back if up when it matters. "We're hungry" "we can go all the way" "just a bump in the road" "best off season ever"... cut all that crap and prove it.

One thing I like about Cooper Rush is that he's been silent even after those two wins. Simply because he knows that this means nothing yet. Celebrate your current success within the team, within your families and enjoy the moment. But shut the F up on social media or in front of any mic.

The only thing they all should be saying is "we have nothing but the highest respect for our opponent and we'll go one game at a game. Thanks, bye". This goes for the owner too.

well many of us would prefer the blue collar type team, but it wont happen, because this cowboy team is fashioned in the image of jerry jones lol.
He likes loud and flashy, and non stop talking!!!! So who wants to work to win a SB? every year is just one big party for the cowboys,
then they watch the SB on tv like the rest of us.

Is the swagger shameless self-promotion or is it the way they motivate themselves? Is it swagger for the individual or for the team?

I guess I don’t mind the flashiness, after all I think they’re just having fun. They trash talk like they’re on the playground - except that it’s grown men making millions of dollars with the hopes of a fan base on their backs and the expectations that come with making all that money.

All that said, if we had players running to the sidelines to parade around in a f#cking Batman cape I would be LOSING MY MIND every Sunday. My gosh how I hate the Eagles.
