If it wasn't for our Defense, Rush would suck

Give the coaching staff credit for game planning in conservative mode and taking well timed shots. It will be interesting to see their approach for the Rams game.

Very good defensive play
Solid O line play
Solid WR play
Coaches putting us in a position to have a chance via appropriate game planning and play calling
Cooper Rush playing within his abilities. He’s not trying to be a hero. He’s basically doing exactly what you want a backup QB to do.

I will say when Dallas has needed Rush to step up he has. Dallas feel behind in the game yesterday and Rush responded. I get that the offense has been playing close to the vest willing to punt instead of taking big risk. But there is little you can do to hide a QB at some point the QB has to step up and make the play, Rush has done that when faced with a couple of 4th down plays in Cinn game and in NY game. He has made big plays when the offense has needed it. Having said that you bet I want Dak back in the games but I will not belittle the work that Rush has done.

True, but driving the bus brings more than 20 points each game, then something is working on offense. Its crazy to think we coudnt score more than 3 in the Tampa game , may be it is no full speed practice ( no preseason ) or whatever.

we had plenty, including myself. His preseason playing didn’t warrant his place in team , but McCarthy deserves some prop, he has rallied the team around Rush and Defense.

I have no quarterback agenda as I only care about winning, but I have to admit I have never seen a legitimate argument for saying a quarterback that is 4-0 as a starter "sucks".

Dak is an upgrade when he's back, the agenda being pushed here that Rush is better just has to stop.

Well maybe. But let's review the board comments after the 1st game. We'll list the names of who said "tank the season now it's done". Or maybe "Dallas won;t win a single game with Cooper Rush"?

SO in that regard...he has exceeded many expectations...and helped...HELPED!...save our season.

So I'm not about to think "suck", let alone create threads about it just to look expert.

We have all seen Sucks at QB in Dallas, Does Hutchinson ring a ball or Henson or a whole host of others that came through Dallas. Rush has done a very good job backing up the starting QB, he has kept this team alive when many felt the season was over after Tampa Bay game.

I love the "I'm thrilled"...or "glad I was wrong" caveats that go with "rush sucks" comments.
