Washington is a solid addition if he's your 4th WR. He actually may add something. He's very fortunate that Tolbert hasn't really shown anything apparently in practice. That likely saved Washington's spot on the roster.

I just hope they are not rushing this young man back and risking his long term future in the process. The defense can use his talents but doesn't need them IMHO. But I suppose it's a good sign that he's been cleared for contact.

Yes and although it involves the spine it is a bone injury. It's not nerve damage or ligaments. Bones heal much faster and he is already 6 months postOp. He's probably been rehabbing for at least the last 4 months

If he can get a little playing time this year it will go a long ways in preparing him for starting next year.
