11 years? Time flies. Remember he was going to quit first training camp. Now he and his kids are set for life.

I will always have mixed feelings about Bease.
Little Elm(10 miles away) QB to SMU WR to Dallas Cowboys undrafted quick slot.
He had a chip on his shoulder that likely helped him last 11 years in the NFL and I get that but he exposed that chip to the world far too often.
So many NFL players would be better off just having a hired social media manager.
I truly hope he enjoys retirement and can also retire the chip.

He wasn't wrong about slot guys being underpaid but he was an undrafted 5'8" 170 pound free agent that made 39M in his career.

He was signed to Tampa’s practice squad and wasn’t used much in their first two games. He was only given an opportunity because of injuries to their receiving corp. He was probably going to be demoted anyway so he probably said the hell with it.
