Yes they do...just like they do with all of the other qbs in the league.
Well then I have to ask: Why is that foisted as a good stat? If the receiver has to wait for the ball, or stop and turn around, then the QB isn't leading him or throwing him open, at least on those particular plays.

He went on to have 2 best seasons of his career in Buffalo. Putting up very nice numbers for a slot and helping them advance deep in the playoffs. He also caught balls down the field .... which is something he supposedly wasn't able to do.
I definitely think it was something more than his production\value. Especially when you consider the receiving cupboard was pretty bare at the time he left.
He went on to start twice the games he did here and get over 100 targets in each of those seasons.

Yet his "best" season in Buffalo was barely better than his best in Dallas with Dak.

Again...watch any other qb in the league with the same lense you do Dak and then just be quite.

This is why i point out in every Thursday Night/Sunday Night/ and Monday Night every time a ball is thrown late, off target or just flat out horribly. So all of you guys with the Dak blinders on can see how it actually is and not just the ESPN highlights you base your lives on.

You post like an imbecile. Where in my statement did I even mention Dak, much less compare him to anyone else? You Dakophants just want any excuse to get emotional and display your "Us and Dak against the world" mentality.

You are trying to say that Dak does makes wrs stop and have to turn around more than anyone else (you can deny it, i won't believe u) and therefore the stat is trash.

Sorry...i am a few steps ahead of you on your post.

Still waiting to hear why Dak is dumb.
One simple question, how does a guy who's played quarterback all his life not know the ref has to spot the ball before the next play starts?

one more even simpler question, why do we need to dumb down the offense for Dak?
Are you guys not begging Moore to dumb it down for Dak? shrugs

"Dak has reached his ceiling! Dak can't see the separation! Dak can't throw receivers open! Dak can't throw into tight windows! Dak chokes under pressure! Dak is not going to develop!" Etc, etc, etc...

Man...zip it already!

Great vid, thanks! Want to see Dak play like that again. Vintage 2016-2019 Dak.

Right....so in a moment of extreme stress....he placed the ball instead of handing it to the ref, while the ref smashes into him, makes him dumb?

We lost whether he handed it to him or not.

Who is saying we need to dumb down the offense?

Can’t read a defense.Constantly checks out of plays called into plays that the D wants.Plays right into D’s hands.Easily fooled by basic disguise.
Again....it is a fallacy that he can't read a defense.

Same with checking out of plays into the defenses hands.

Defenses definitely do dictate to our offense...this isn't exclusive to Dak. It is the scheme amd went on when the really smart Romo was qb.

you miss all the threads where dak needs the offense simplified down. Like some are accusing Moore of doing for Rush.

Only ones i see saying that are the ones who think he is too dumb to tie his own shoes.

Also...running the ball more and putting less on Dak(i support this) is not dumbing it down.

Maybe you are confused?

Ken, really? It took a backup to come into the game and show the starter what he needs to be doing? and are they not simplifying the game plan for Rush like you guys are accusing Moore of doing to make it sound like Moore is running the most complicated offense for Dak?

You're not ahead of anything except your own ego. Stats were posted and I expressed curiosity as to the parameters of those stats. If you believe those parameters negatively affect your man crush, that's on you. I'm only interested in accurately assessing the meaning of the information given.

They are simply running the ball more and calling more play action.

There is no dumbing down for either player...they are calling a different game.

So why are they simplifying the game plan for Dak? Is it too much for him, and a backup has highlighted daks flaws?

I don't think throwing the ball 40-50 times a game is winning football for anyone.

This is why big passing teams tend to fall apart late in the playoffs and/or super bowl. It is simply losing football.

We all know this. This isn't anything knew. I want to get back to the strategy we had in 2014. The only problem is we don't have a Demarco Murray.
