Lol, we’ll yeah, he’s your starting QB, you don’t really think they’re going to have him not be able to participate especially in order to keep some scrub DT who shouldn’t have made the team in the first place do you? Simple basic reasoning skills!

Being placed on IR, would have allowed him to participate in 4 weeks, which puts him on schedule. Like you said simple reasoning skills.

McCarthy is not playing Dak this week. The plan all along has been 6-8 weeks. Next week will be the best case scenario for Dak and I would not be surprised if they wait until the Chicago game or platoon the 2 QBs the next couple of weeks.

I cannot wait until Prescott is medically cleared. None of the nonsensical "euphoria" idiocy surrounds Cooper Rush, unlike 2016, despite he and the team going unbeaten since the Week One loss.

One of two things will happen within the fanbase once Prescott is given the green light. Either some fans will say, 'I told you so', while other fans will gnash their teeth. Or some fans will gnash their teeth, while other fans will say 'I told you so'.

And all the crazy will be on display, right here, on CowboysZone. lol.

Wouldn’t have been able to attend games and help Rush, which is right where you want him… simple basic reasoning skills!

For some reason I thought our bye was coming next week. That's why I thought there was no way Dak would be playing this week.
Now I think he'll be out there as soon as he's ready & it's reasonally safe for him to play full throttle.
The Lions & Bears would be good opponents for Dak to get re-aclimated, but I doubt the FO would be nervous about starting Rush.
Cowboys play the NFC North teams all in a row: two home games versus Detroit and Chicago, then their bye week, then its on to Green Bay and Minnesota for their 9th and 10th games of the season.

It also appears they missed not using the IR designation.
At the time we had just lost to Tampa in terrible fashion with everyone saying that the season was over. Keeping Dak off of IR was a business decision to keep people hopeful and to keep coming to games.

Getting healthy fast. He will be back to checkdowns, holding the ball too long, and missing reads in no time.
Wait.....Dak do checkdowns and it's a problem. Rush do checkdowns and everyone says he's taking what the defense is giving him....lol. It's obvious you know nothing about the QB position. And you have something agains Dak....and it aint his play.

IR doesn't mean he's placed in exile, and where do you think he would do his rehab? I'm just gonna say NO reason skills, and bypass basic.

Yeah, which seems a bit weird. I just think the Lions & Bears are better than GB or Minni for Dak's 1st game after 5 weeks off.

It is obvious you are not familiar with proper grammar.

And the bye gives Prescott a breather of sorts, having basically restarting his season.

I think they didn’t put him on IR because they thought the record with Rush would be 2-3 or 1-4 and they could keep fan interest in the team/tickets by selling us Dak will be back any day to save the season.

Nah. No gnashing.

He does good; "Oh, regular season doesn't matter."

He does bad; "Oh, regular season doesn't matter".
