if hes healthy enough to play then he should start, if hes not healthy enough to play then he should wait a week or two more....there is no hes kinda healthy so put him at backup, thats not how it works...the backup has to be able to fully play if needed.

A 50% dak at backup that cant throw accuratly because hes still injured does us no good if philly knocks rush out.

I have thought of this as well, really depend on if he is healthy enough. Part of me would like to see him in uniform and have him go in if need be over Grier
My thoughts exactly but having him active as a backup gives the impression that there is a qb controversy to anyone who struggles with a solution that isn’t black and white.

An 80% healthy dak is probably not as good as rush but probably better than Grier.

I don't care about perceptions any longer, people are going to think what they choose and should not have any bearing on what the team does.

Add that to the fact that the Eagles have a cupcake schedule.
Yep...both teams do, but Eagles even moreso
How so, 3/17 of their schedule differs from the Dallas Schedule based on how teams finished last year.
Those games: .
Cowboys @ Rams, Eagles @ Cardlinals last Sunday; DAL & PHL won
Bengals @ Cowboys Sept 19th - DAL win; Steelers @ Eagles Oct 30th
Buccaneers @ Cowboys Sept 11th - DAL loss; Saints @ Eagles Jan 1st

The other 14 games are the same for Cowboys and Eagles (also Giants and Commanders)
6 division games, 4 against AFC South, 4 versus NFC North
