It would be interesting to know the last time Dallas were underdogs in 5 of their first 6 games . We’d probably have to go back to 1989 and our 1-15 season.

And this is with a 4-1 start that we continue to defy the odds with a backup QB. Amazing how little respect this Cowboys team is receiving . I think it’s helping fuel the fire and determination. McCarthy even made it bulletin board material last week.

I must admit I didn’t give us much of a shot last week and I don’t really expect us to go to Philly and win tomorrow night but I’m becoming a believer in this defense and team .

I’m not counting us out in any game. This dynamic defense provides us an opportunity to win every game. We should fear no one .

Yeah.
Backup QB. Iffy receivers. Offensive line playing just "okay". Can't blame the odds makers.
For the record I too don't think they beat the beagles on the road, but anything can happen in the NFL.

Our coaching certainly deserves much accolades as well. It takes a team effort to overcome key injuries.

I don’t mind that we are underdogs…as we should be for the reasons another poster noted; I think we play better with a chip on our shoulder; nobody likes to feel slighted. Let’s hope the Cowboys come out playing with emotion and with purpose.

The Cowboys play a lot better when everyone’s picking against them. Once you anoint the team they become complacent and regress.

Oh no, after this game we will be favored to beat the Lions/Bears/Panthers.

I enjoy the underdog role. Always my favorite seasons to watch. Can’t stand the overhyped, overrated mentality in recent years. This is probably my favorite season to watch since Parcells first year. Physical team relying on defense and run game, Xs and Os actually doing something on defense, conservative mistake free ball…. Just pure football and fun to watch.

If we beat Philly you can almost bet we’ll lay an egg against one of those teams. Our defense that has looked incredible will allow Justin Fields to have a career day. There’s always at least one game every season where the Cowboys don’t bother to show up.

Oh please God no.... we all know who's probably coming back after the Philthy game. If you're correct I'm disappearing from this board for awhile because a 100 threads will be made about it and 1000 arguments in them. Ay chihuahua! I hope you're wrong, brother.

They’ll have to shut down the board for a few days if we start losing after Dak returns. They’ll be a total Cowboyszone meltdown.

I would think 2015 when Romo was out and every QB that started in relief sucked and struggled to move the ball.

We could go back to the Dave Campo era because those were some dark times as a Cowboys fan.

Been that way this whole century. I hope we're underdogs all year.
