How much will Dak help?

I think this win streak will be a good wake up call for Dak and Kellen Moore.

They’ll reign in the throwing attempts and lean on the run game.

And when needed, Dak has the arm strength that Cooper Rush lacks

Im optimistic about the future if Dak plays within his means.

Hard to say it depends on which Dak we get.

I'm hoping for the 2016 version myself.

He should have played in this game and I think we would have won.

Whatever was wrong with Dak week 1 better be fixed, or we won't win another game. I can't believe people are seemingly forgetting how awful he looked, and I'm just talking from a mechanics standpoint. Fans want to say he has a better arm than Rush. His first pass was straight into the ground at the WR's feet like 7 yards away. The way he took each snap looked like he was moving on broken ankles, and it looked like he was using all his strength to throw every pass. There was something really wrong with him, and best-case scenario is that he was hurting from something else, and now everything is healed.

The only way Dak plays a defense that good again this season is against that team in the playoffs. I think Dak comes back and plays good. This 5 game streak by Cooper was a good wake up call for him.

Dak needs to do three things.

- stop changing plays so much.

- use his legs. We see across the league every good qb does it.

- take more shots deep 1 on 1. Instead of check downs. They can be high percentage plays if you use it correctly. Single high safety and one on one against your wideouts you have to be willing to let your guy make a play.

But mainly for me it’s more designed runs ect. Stop worrying if he’ll get hurt. We saw tonight it’s tough for a defense when used correctly

I think we will run the ball as we have. However, I think Dak will help because, unlike Rush, he actually does use the middle of the field. Rush had a play where he had Gallup wide open in the middle, but threw to Lamb instead on the sidelines. He'd have had a massive gain with Gallup.

Can this team score mid 20s per game at least?
He’s better than Rush, I think most will agree.
The question is, will we get the good Dak or the week 1 Dak or Playoff Dak from lst year?
I think we’ll get a little bit if both.

If a healthy practiced Dak was playing tonight the Cowboys would have won the game. I know that is a bold statement but I really believe it to be true. Dak will help a lot because he can throw the ball downfield and he can move around in the pocket.

WR group is still a huge question mark. Gallup has not looked great since returning from injury. Can he be a #2 WR or was he just better off in the role he was in as a #3 in the past? We still don't know if Lamb is a legit #1 WR on a playoff/contending team.

Amari Cooper was not perfect but he still knew how to get open (especially at home) and I'd say he commanded more attention from defenses than any WR currently on the roster now.

And maybe that's why I'm so critical of him because he looked so awful in that TB game. And that coming after that SF game left a bad taste in my mouth. But we're not going to win a SB if he doesn't play well so I hope the old Dak comes back.

He’ll help a lot if he can return to the form he had early last season and use his mobility more. He was deadly in the red zone running for TDs prior to his ankle injury. We need that Dak back! We could easily score 20 points per game even with the supporting cast he has if he can return to form.

Dak is on the level of Cousins and Carr. You can win with that level of QB play - they are borderline tier 2 players. Dak is certainly going to be an upgrade over Rush, whether that results in more Ws, there is a lot that factors into that.

If he looks like he did against TB, you'll get similar results to Rush on offense.
