Yeah people doggin him out for not making that play don't understand assignment football. The end takes the back, the second level player takes the QB. It's the only way to stop the option.. If you try to play hero ball it will kill you.

Why not play contain and make him throw.

Regardless this Is where Hankins can help. Play contain and have him taking up blockers in the middle. But doesn't look like we've been implementing it.
