Twitter: DLaw to Seahawks

Run defense on the dline has not seemed to be a priority.
They did let Golston and DLaw go but the DE they brought in is of the 280 variety and Kneeland is what he is.

We have sucked at run defense largely because of flops like Mazi and piss poor LB play.

Hopefully these LB can help. They have decent range. Those outside runs have been brutal the past few years.

One of the most over rated and over paid players who was paid as a War Daddy, which means the team's PRIMARY passion rusher.

The constant, he sets the edge, great run defender and pressures nonsense of the supporters here was comical.
He was paid THAT contract to sack the QB. Period. Hence, Jerry's WarDaddy description.

I have a really hard time remembering any pivotal 3rd down sacks in order to close out an opponent in any close games.

I do remember being the first defender whoever netted 100 million fully guaranteed and lotsa pregame pep talks and usually being a no show by the end of his last 4 to 5 seasons and him saying he was tired in the playoffs.

What a legacy indeed.

Just because the Jerrah over paid him that's not his fault. Lawrence was solid for a long time. Was he great or one of the best defensive ends in football? no but again Jerrah loves to overpay their players. He still was a good player on this team there were many more to complain about then him.

Za'Darius Smith would be a logical replacement if he is cheap enough for this front office.
Jerry nimbles in free agency to avoid the big mistake and potential for embarrassment. We haven't signed a top tier free agent this time of year since 2012. We like our guys and that's who jerry save his money to sign.

I don't understand why so many are against the Law. He was a good player, rarely overran the play. He didn't make a lot of splash plays, but he was solid
Agree 100%....... a good solid player. Only a couple of years ago, he led all DEs in pressures and was the league's best DE run defender. He did a lot of dirty work that doesn't flash on your TV screen, and the league knows it, which explains his market value.

I would not have paid him $14 million for 3 years. But I would have to see his contract details.

I would have sign Golston for what he got.

Best run stopping DE in the league
I'm sure there's others but I know this the best in my eyes best all around defensive end is TJ Watt I know still a thorn in our side but he is one of the best run stopping defensive ends and guess what drum roll he also gets sacks..lol

anybody who thinks this is a big loss you all are hypocrites you say the Cowboys hold on to their guys too long you use the old narrative they like our guys you say we overpay for aging players we should let them go but then when they let them go it's the biggest mistake in the world yes..LOL

come on guys you're not keeping players forever sometimes it's better to get players in here for the new coaching staff these decisions are being made not just by the front office most of these players that you guys are unhappy with I guarantee our suggestions off list from our new coaching staff they wanna work with these other guys to implement their schemes and sometimes you just got to purge some of the old players....

This one hurts great guy he was really solid for us, nice to see he got paid.
It doesn't hurt because it was expected it was time to move on he makes too much money he's older he's been here a really long time his production has been dropping I like the guy too but it's Lewis that's the worst loss so far this offseason because of the position he plays and how many injuries we have players trying to come back at that position and how well Lewis was playing so I'd say Lewis so far is the only big loss that we've experienced..

Like I said I like the guy I appreciate his game but it was time to move on...
