Are we still doing the Amari vs Ceedee and Noah watch?

Not me. Amari had a good Monday night game. I was rooting for him. I hope he does well. I also hope Lamb becomes the number 1 receiver. Noah Brown is making the best of his opportunity and that is good too see…

There is no thinking, it will be the difference between showing up at the Super Bowl and whatever excuse the forum will give you here. He was our best receiver and he made everyone else's life easier.
Coop definitely helped our WR corp. It was purging last year.

Just asking for a friend.

I’m happy with how our guys have performed but still think getting rid of Amari was a mistake and wish he were here.

It was a mistake. I'm still pissed. Our FO is just dumb.

Im not oversimplifying anything

Yall keep blaming his lack of production on Dak but he hasnt ever exceeded what hes done here anywhere else

Ok so lets say Dak does spread the ball around…Then why did Ceedee outperform him?

i mean he was 3rd in receptions last season and was making $20m

if Hunter Renfrow or Darren Waller outperforms Davante Adams this year, then holla at me

I said they're similar QBs. He went for about the same yards per season in Oakland and Dallas. I don't see your point.

Why did ceedee have more yards? Because of the type of QB Dak is. When you don't have the game to allow your #1 to be a playmaker that's what's gonna happen sometimes. Lack of anticipation and late throws are gonna decrease y.a.c. and limit where you throw especially when they're rolling coverage. That still didn't stop Cooper from having a top 5 rate of separation last year.

It's all about viewpoint and understanding your QBs limitations. I see a guy in Adams, 1400-1500 yrd guy struggling with the same QB your blaming Cooper for hindering but you don't dare blame Dak for hindering guys like Cooper, Dez, and pretty soon Lamb.

This is why I said your oversimplifying.

Plus do you know what Oakland is paying for Adams? You sound silly.

Sure. Just make sure you list the contracts next to the players.

CeeDee 42 catches 556 yards 3 TDs --2 years 8M left on contract then an option year.
Noah 39 catches. 339 yards, 1 TD --1 year 1 million
Amari 39 catches 553 yards 5 TDs --3 years 60 M

Why gosh I can just taste the regret.....
I mean we ONLY scored 49 Sunday. Maybe we hit 60 with Amari..........

So because hes an elite route runner its ok for him to underperform and not live up to his contract?

Fans

no it’s not ok to underperform. i’d obviously be betting/hoping he didn’t have the same year he had last year

You keep asserting this but I am not sure it bears out. We have a small sample size of the offense with Dak to compare with for this year but I never got the impression that Amari was a consistent difference maker while he was here. He was great in the slot or on the open side where he had room to work his crossover but we also saw him gameplanned away a lot as well as him just not showing up.

That was kinda the whole thing: his inconsistency. We did just put up a 40 burger on a good pass defense.

it’s what i believe, and in response to “why would we want him here” or whatever.

as far as sample sizes we can compare what rush did with Amari against the vikings vs his starts without.

but yeah if we can get more of what we got Sunday it will ease the frustration for sure though

This is just a whole bunch of nonsense

If your point is that Amari, his whole career, has been a victim of his Qbs, then that just sounds like garbage.

So its his QBs fault he disappears in road games?

You have my condolences, and i didn't know you were in your 50's.... and i could care less about what Amari did tonight. What did he do? And we don't need another WR.
Thanks but much to my chagrin the wife is still around and I'm getting up there in age but I'm still in my 40's. Me neither, never liked Cooper, he had like 3 good games with us. I'd like a speedster to take the top of the D off, not sure the cowboys would use him right, my preference in a trade would be a run stuffing fast, instinctive, LB.

And?

That is called forcing the ball. Have you watched the rams this year? They have forced the ball to Kupp to a fault and now they are desperately trying to get their "prized" FA Robinson to do something.

Again...0 other teams in the league had 3 100 target players. 0.

One perception about Stafford is that he throws to Kupp too much. But also there's still a lot of fans who blame Robinson's lack of production on him and don't see it as an issue of Stafford not throwing him the ball or targeting him.

I was against the move, but it's done he's gone.

The team is in a good spot. They needed the cap space.

Some believe that Dak didn't throw the ball to Cooper enough, but if he had targeted Amari to the point of the other WRs on the team not having as many catches or yards as they ended up getting, then the narrative would just be that Dak is a "one read" QB and doesn't know how to spread the ball around.
