I'll never understand why you and others always try and deflect Dak's bad play onto the mistakes made from real QB's. "Well, Brady did it too, so see Dak can do it too."

They love the ole "everyone makes mistakes" but when you tell them it's not that he makes mistakes but the frequency with which he does so that separates him from the great ones there head almost explodes. In their world, it's everyone else's fault. Just bad luck he's stuck with so many incompetent players.

Michael Irvin said if he ran that same route . Aikman would of cussed him out on the sideline. I think Dak is just to nice. He needs to start holding these guys accountable like Aikman did.

Michael has also said he could run routes blindfolded and they would still complete the pass because Aikman would put it exactly where it was supposed to be.

Two players how held themselves accountable and worked at it til it was as natural as breathing.

If you ever played wide receiver you should know it's a two way street. Anybody mess up it leads to bad things. I'm not saying Dak played well but he didn't play horrible either. In the end we had 28 and should or had 31 if coachless Mike goes for the field goal late. Ang other quarterback not named Dak that puts up 28 to 31 would be considered good enough. And in reality if I told you Dak would have 2 int's with 28 points on the board before the game. You'd of been pretty happy with that.

How about when Dak wins 7 Superbowls then come at everyone with", See, Dak won 7 also." Just because an elite QB makes a mistake does not relieve Dak of his stupid decisions, period, but, it happens time after time after time.
Oh boy.

It isn't the mistake...it is the way he did it.

The point...that goes over everyone's head is....even guys with 7 super bowls stare down wrs and throw it to guys playing underneath coverage.

It isn't any deeper than that.

End of the day Dak Prescott is a bus driver as is Cooper Rush. The only real difference is that Dak parallel parks a bit better. Jerry once again made an emotional decision instead of looking at the body of work. Sit back and enjoy the mediocrity he isn't going anywhere for a few more seasons and even then I suspect he will be extended.

blame dak all you want. i’m not a dak fan anymore but throw the ball 46 times idiots against the 27th overall running defense and there’s your results. blame goes much higher than the players

I can honestly say that I wouldn't have been happy. I don't go into games thinking X is the magic number. Certainly not against a desperate team with a HOF QB. I am not saying he played horrible but it's long past a trend with him of coming up short.

So the QB isn't changing run plays to pass plays as a possibility?

even if he does that. HC and OC need to lure the qb and tell him to stop doing stupid crap. dak has blame but like i said it’s higher than him also.

So it's OK that Dak does it? Is that your position? Deflect is all you are trying to do to cover up Daks inept play.

How embarrassing.

Dak led us to a two touchdown lead in the 4th quarter. Surely he's trash and it's his fault we lost. He passed 46 times. Had Cooper Rush had been in at QB, we'd have run 46 times. Why isn't the OC sticking with a similar formula on the road at Lambeau in the cold?

because he has pop

Was at the the game. Nobody talks to Dak on thr sideline. After the first pic he wasn’t within 30 yards of another player. Only the coaches surround Dak and they treat him like a little kid that they have to talk up. They are patting him on the back and all talking off the iPads.

The players after the second pic were yelling at the coaches. They know Dak ain’t the guy and he’s not even respected by his own team. The only time Dak talks to his team are when they get out on the field and he literally high fives all 5 lineman before the drive starts.

breaking news - Dak is total trash
Really?!? Really good post. I posted something yesterday out of anger but it got me thinking. I wasn't trolling but I asked the question is Dak the "leader" everyone keeps saying he is. Then I asked another question. Are we dealing with a Russell Wilson situation here? Everyone raved about Wilson when things were going good and then now his former team and current team are painting a different story about him.

Your post kind of gives some insight to those questions. I will say that it appears the team played better, with more intensity and
more urgency with Rush.

Sometimes I wonder if the daily talk of Dak's contract for 2+ years weighed on the rest of the team. All that attention/drama could have caused the other players to resent him. Don't forget in March of 2019 it was reported that he was offered the biggest contract in NFL history, at that time, and turned it down. Sometimes I wonder if he lost the locker room when he did that.

I get that it is cover 2 and that the LB did do a good job of disrupting the play. And that this has to be run against a live D, who alter things.

What I don't get is the routes by Schultz and Lamb. My guess is that Schultz is supposed to go deeper into the endzone and run towards the end line as opposed to running acroos the endzone towards the sideline. But, that then begs the quation what/where is the 4th target supposed to do? If Schultz does go endline then they end up in the same spot and Lamb is closer to the goal line, with Pollard still open on the sideline. It just seems to me that one of Schultz/Lamb should have gone left to if nothing else, take one of the defenders with them. As it was there were 4 targets and 6 defenders all in the same 3rd of the field. I get the read was horrible but I just don't understand the design either.

I see what you are saying. I don’t get it as well, unless Lamb made a mistake.

That being said, it’s irrelevant to the play as Schultz was the read, Dak was staring him down, and he got knocked off his route and Dak basically just waited for his late break and threw it straight to the safety for easy pickings.

Literally showed him talking with Schultz and CeeDee after 1st INT. You probably just saw him when he went back to QB bench.

Because our “franchise” QB couldn’t move the ball, so our OC had to dumb down the offense and pretty much go up-tempo early in the game.
