Did anyone see the roughing the passer call on Micah at the end of the game?

Just rewatched. Personal foul after the play. Don't know exactly what happened, but the last they showed of Micah, he was pushing through to rush the QB. About 10 seconds after the play was over, there were whistles then a flag. I'm guessing Micah got into a little scuffle with an OL.

Yeah, some OL named Gates. He said Parsons punched him in the chin, or smacked the crap out of him. Something like that. If true, at least Parsons didn't pick a terrible time to do it.

Was that reported on NFLN or something?

This is why I believe the NFL is "rigged" flurry of flags to make the spread.

This isn't the 80s anymore. Never ever make a wager giving double digit points, or close to it. Garbage time points can lose it for you. Remember last year? Tampa had a 28-7 lead on the Eagles midway through the 3rd. They could have made it worse but they dialed it back. End score was 28-22 but Philly never had any chance of winning. All Philly did was cover the spread by like a point. Whether it's rigged or just garbage points, never make a bet anymore giving 7 points or more.

In my gambling days I always bet the team I thought would win. Even if they were underdogs. All the better. But back then there wasn't a lot of garbage points. Today I raise an eyebrow.

I saw that, too, and replayed it a few times. Just as the camera panned away from the Giants backfield to cover the reception, it looked like the Giants left tackle was giving Micah the business. So, I assume it was a flag for Micah retaliating against that guy.

I doesn't seem like Parsons to throw a punch of a slap unless he was slapped first. Gates would not rat himself out if he started it.

The play was not caught on video, a big miss by Fox, but I saw Parsons mouth on the sideline and he seemed to be saying "no way!". If he slapped or punched someone I doubt he would debate whether it was a foul or not. If the refs saw it, and they must have if he was penalized, then they would have ejected him for throwing a punch. If they didn't see it then there should not have been a flag at all.

Retaliation is always caught, but rarely the precipitating incident.
