Grats to the Purple Frogs and my old coaches' son, Sonny.
Fort Worth is still West Texas but great job this year.
VERY few teams have made it through the B12 unscathed, and they deserve a ton of credit.

Since OUT announced they are leaving they've made 0 Big 12 Championship games.

Texans going to get a good Qb in Stroud next April . Get the man some weapons .

I guessed the TCU GA spread would be 10. It’s opened at 13.5 . Wow .

I am a little surprised it is that big. Frankly, Georgia did not look all that great yesterday; especially on D which was supposed to be a team strength.

Absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially w/ all the moaning and whining about how they didn't belong, and ALA should've been in.

I hope beyond hope they can beat Georgia!!!!
TCU winning it all would be huge; the first non football factory or reasonable facsimile to do so.

Always had a soft spot for TCU since I was kid in Arlington in the 90s. Always liked the purple unis.

I’m pulling for them in the championship.

What Michigan wasn’t ready for was TCU’s speed. It was obvious how fast they were on offense and defense. It’s going to give GA some problems I promise you.

Agree.

Plus, those guys were simply not afraid, not even a little bit. They came to play, and that appeared to shock Mich.

Absolutely huge. Along w/ showing the world that it's time for a playoff system in college football. Those arguing against it have already had their arguments thrown to the wolves w/ TCU beating MICH.

What do we have, 1 more year of this 4 team bs?

Probably; but I despise the 12 team circus that is coming. Watering it down that much is not in any way shape or form a good thing.
Personally I think going to 6 teams with the top 2 getting byes is the best way; You go look over the last ten years and you will NOT find more than 6 that were worthy of playing for the NC
Devaluing the regular season and all that goes with it is a terrible thing; we have seen that with the NHL and NBA where almost half the teams in the league make the playoffs.
I believe that taking into account the full season before being eligible to play for it all is the way it should be; none of this mediocre crap for half the season and then get hot for 5 or 6 games.

Except that is not watering it down. There were easily a dozen teams this year that deserved a shot. ALA, TENN, Utah, USC, Penn St, Clemson, Kan ST, WASH, FL ST.

You see, doing it the other way comes back to simply voting for the best teams. How in the world is that a good way to determine anything?

I agree. And I’m glad they at least got TCU and Ohio St right. They both played amazing.

Having said that had Bama gotten the nod I could see them in the title game as well even with the two losses. That team and Saban are good. They made K St look silly

There was great public pressure to leave TCU in, especially after all the talk about OH ST staying in after losing. TCU was in the same situation, what's the difference?

In previous years, TCU would've been out and they'd have put ALA in.

The present system destroys teams for losing just 1-2 game in the regular season. It's not a fair system at all, and voting as to who gets the playoff spot is just lame. All teams should have to earn it.

TCU has already been a victim of this crappy playoff system. Remember a few seasons ago when they had an undefeated season but were left out of the playoffs? The reason given then was the lack of a conference title game. This year lost the title game and everyone (everyone being the biased big school thugs) wanted to leave TCU out because they lost to K-State and replace them with Alabama, who didn't play in the title game. Alabama deserved it more, they said.

I love watching college ball, but there HAS to be a better way to handle the playoffs and / or championship games. Why not copy the NFL or high school way of doing it? They could reduce the season from 12 to 10 games and have a tiered playoff system similar to what they do with the Texas high school post season. That makes the most sense. Or have conference championships actually have meaning. Most conference champions in the current college system end up playing in some crappy, meaningless bowl game. The current system is unfair to many good schools.
