Heck I wouldn’t mind if they reschedule Buffalo and Cincy and delay the playoffs by a week but I doubt they’d do that with so many people already making playoff travel plans.

that’s one of the better ideas I’ve heard kicked around and they could still keep the original SB date if they eliminate the bye week between after the Championship games and just play the SB the very next week on schedule

Love to win the division but in the end it really doesnt matter, this team needs to show up for a playoff game then the chips can fall where they may. Road game home game they need to show they are ready to play a playoff game because its been a while since they did that.

I dont know how much the bye really matters these days, I have not looked it up but recently (5 years or so) i dont think the record is stunning. Maybe i just blocked it out because we have sqaundered it though.

Well it used to matter a lot but now only 2 teams get a bye so yeah the numbers will sway heavily the other way.

True i also think the parity in the league was diferent, the bye teams used to be far and away the best teams and every year it seems the middle is pulling everyone in. "just get in" rings louder today than in the past to me.

I’m trying to not get my hopes up but even if Hurts plays there is no guarantee he can even move the offense with a banged up shoulder.

The Giants are a better team than the Saints so if Minshew plays again then I fully expect NYG to win that game.

Dallas needs this and having home field and rested players is everything.

It very much is up for grabs! That is why we can't worry about resting or sitting players, and just come out and destroy Washington early. We can not fool around. We have a first time QB to rush all day long and win. G- Man are going to take that 10 point point spread as an insult I hope and come out and beat the eGals.

It's not even worth teasing ourselves to think that a first-round bye is possible despite how badly we need it. However, a week break is much more realistic now that the NFL may need to create one so the BUF/CIN game can be played. Great for us to heal but equally great for all the teams headed to the playoffs except the Bengals.

This morning I saw ESPN Analytics said there is only a 2% chance of it happening.

The Cowboys lost any real chance of getting the #1 seed by not showing up week one and losing the OT games at GB and JAX.

In other words, it's their own fault.

It is higher than 2%. They are using a terrible statistical model if they come up with 2% at this point in time.

It's about 20%. Higher if Hurts does not play the entire game.

I could be wrong but TB12 teams usually dont "Rest" players but maybe i just dont remeber it.
