Don’t like the location of the ads. It is disorienting to have them sprinkled between posts and after the thread title.

The page counter doesn't show when I have my phone vertical. I have to turn it horizontal, which I dislike doing. It wasn't like that before. Is that a permanent thing that can't be changed?
Try now.

I came here to mention this as my only complaint. I wasn't getting the page count displayed on my phone during the game, but when I just checked again it's all good. Thank you.
Try now for the normal desktop page list.

Try now for the normal desktop page list.
For this thread, I see 1...7 8 9

The ... option of entering a number doesn't seem that useful to me.
I can't recall ever being in the position of knowing what page I want except first, last - which you have already.
I'm doing a search. I want to just click. I don't want to type. I don't want to be encouraged to do math to pick the best number.
Which numbers to put up is an interesting problem for a general search, but I don't thinks this is a general search. First, Last, Prev, Next is most of the use cases I imagine I do.
[First][First+?] [Cur-?] [-1][Current][+1] [Cur+?] [Last-?][Last]
The +-? is probably fine for a 5,10,20 based on the difference between the current and the endpoints.
Probably the best improvement is not having to scroll to the top/bottom to get to the search.
Every time I start thinking about a forum interface, I come back to a RN or Outlook split view of Summary List With Single Selected Message view.
The whole concept of a page is an arbitrary imposition on the user. I want to look at a series of lines of a series of messages. There's no "page" in the use case except for maybe my screen size.
When I want the next post, I'd rather be clicking from a fixed spot to advance the lines in a message, and then between messages.
Advancing through a thread should have a unified control, and "pages" should have nothing to do with it unless the page is defined relative to the screen size used.
Part of the unified control should allow for a keystroke/voice option instead of mouse/touch.
I realize I'm going far afield of any incremental changes you're likely interested in at the moment. Just thinking, while the problem presents itself. But maybe there are some incremental changes on current forum design in the direction I'd like things to go.

Can you not see the -> [ ... ] <- button on your mobile device? If you don't, I can try to figure out why.

If you do, try clicking it.

Before, I was able to copy and paste pics into the reply box. Now, I can no longer do it. Bummer. Not sure how to insert pics anymore as I don't have one of those online pic accounts like photobucket, etc. :(

I think what has been happening is that some of you have been using terms I view as one thing when you really meant something else.

Let me just update what I have done and see if this fixes the problems some of you are/were having ..

1) I made it so on mobile devices, the page numbers show the same as they do on desktop devices. I am referring to the page numbers that show above the thread list (when you click on a forum link on the home page) and the thread post list (when you click on a thread in a forum) pages as well as at the bottom of those listings.

2) I made it so that up to the last 3 page number buttons that show below the thread title on the thread list that shows on desktops will now show on mobile devices.

3) For those who have been saying the site looks "cluttered" on mobile, it looks like the replies and last reply member were showing on the thread list (when viewing a forum) page where that did not happen on on the old site. This meant at least 3 lines would be shown for every thread on mobile devices, which did make it appear more "cluttered" than the old site. I have now removed those so it should look much cleaner.

Can those of you who have been posting about things they do not like on mobile devices look at them again and see if any of the above changes fixed what you did not like?

If they did not, please provide more detailed information so I can make sure I understand what you are talking about exactly so I can see if I can improve it.

It's a brand new editor so not sure what it does and does not support.

Since CZ does not host images, I can only imagine it was copying the image URL before and placing the .. [ IMG ] .. BB codes around it internally.

I am not sure I can fix this but I will look at it and see if there is a way to do it.

I use twitter to post pics here. Linking pictures is pretty much the only reason I have it.. that and following Cowboys news.

When people say they are on mobile devices are they talking about phones? If so are they using and app or just the phone's browser?
