I wish clicking the tread title would still take you to the first post. We can get to the end with the timestamp on the right.

When I'm on my phone, I'm using the phone's browser. Didn't know there was an app.

I don't think there is an app either but I was asking in case there was. If you can fight through this site on a phone though your eye are clearly a lot better than mine.. As if your patience.

I'm mostly on my computer, but on occasion, I'm on my phone, and haven't had any issues.

For me personally it was a big loss when you changed the Newsfeed Zone to essentially another Fan Zone that just has user postings. Going to one place to get professional articles like it was before was great - it gave this site the best of both worlds. I’m guessing it was a lot of work to find and link to the professional articles ?

We do not have an app. We are talking about the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

The thread title always took you to the first unread post. I manually made a mod on the old site where clicking the thread start date/time would take you to the first post.

That has nothing to do with the upgrade. That change was made a couple of years ago. As I have said MANY times, just go to the Cowboys Fan Zone website and look at the top right. That newsfeed is WAY better than anything we ever had on this site.

I am not sure I will be able to fix the mouse-over (hover) alerts as that changed from hover to click with the new software. I have spent time looking into it though and will continue doing so.

As for the smilies, what changed on those? The regular smilies/emojis may have changed, but all of the custom ones we added should be there.

Now that the move to new software and new servers has been completed and I have designed the still-work-in-progress Light theme for the site, what are your thoughts on it so far?

Why did you upgrade now?
We were having issues with a couple of things and the older software and servers were limiting our ability to add new features that we have planned.

Are you done with the new site design?
No, not even close. I keep finding things that need to be updated or improved.

Will there be a dark theme?
Yes, once everything else gets settled, I will work on creating a dark theme for the site.

Will there be a chatroom like the old site had?
Yes, we will be adding a new chatroom system, but it will be a few days before we work on that.

Will member stats be added back below the avatar/username/title area of thread posts?
Yes, hopefully. It will have to be manually implemented so it will depend on what is available and possible.

Still can't get the threads to enlarge. Thread title is fine but need magnifying glass to read threads.

It's too popular to change now.

everyone I asked about it either dont know how, or it is too much trouble, or they dont care what their avatar is.
So it isnt that they like it, it just doesnt bother them.
Do a poll for how many love the rowdy avatar , or dont love it. then we find out. Or should it be changed.

just imo it should just be a dallas star like on their normal helmet . We have been looking at the rowdys a long time.
