NEW YORK (AP) — Robbie Bachman, the drummer for the Canadian hard rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive that was known for such 1970s hits as “Takin' Care of Business" and “You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet," has died at age 69.

His death was announced on social media Thursday by his brother and bandmate, Randy Bachman, who did not cite a cause.

“The pounding beat of BTO has left us," Randy Bachman wrote. “He was an integral cog in our rock ‘n roll machine and we rocked the world together."

BTO had a nice string of hits back in the mid-70s. The driving force of the band were the Bachman brothers one of which{Randy}was in the Guess Who. RIP.

I really like the Guess Who and when they broke up and formed BTO I became a bigger fan. I saw them many times in concert. There is a one hour show on AccessTV every couple of months of Bachman/Turner in concert singing all the BTO hits. It's VERY good.

I'll have to check it out, they were always very good at what they did which was basically straight ahead meat and potatoes rock and roll
