49er game is in the hands of the coaches

Shananan is the best in the business at scheming. He can win no matter what QB is in there. If the niners win this game, it would be their 3rd NFC championship appearances in 4 years.

He probably has the best roster he has ever had.

The big question mark is can the cowboys get to purdy and get him rattled. He has been good so far. But there's a reason 31 teams passed on him 7 times in the draft.

This team has proven they have the talent to do it all. It is up to the coaches to have prepared them for the 49ers and this playoff game. If we lose tonight, it’s on McCarthy. What say you?
The coaches need to step it up this week for sure, but the players can’t be putting it on the ground, or batting the ball into the arms of a DB etc…

It fully depends which Dallas team shows up….the really dumb one or the other version.

It depends. If our man can’t beat the man in front of him, it’s on that player……if we are out-schemed and dont adjust properly, it’s on the coaches……we will be able to see the difference very clearly in real time

It's all Kellen's fault.
This season's motto, theme, t-shirt and scapegoat.
McCarthy has achieved knighthood status already. Refer to him as Sir.

Playoff football is an organic synergy between the strength of man, the will of man, and the beatdown of man. This is Caveman A Group battling Caveman B Group.

Now, get on with it! You there! Pick up the rock and stick!

Actually it may be the other way around. We’ve already lost the coaching battle: Shananan scheme versus KM 1991
scheme ? McCarthy brings nothing on game day except kamikaze 4th down calls or bad time management. Our only hope may be our players outplaying theirs and getting to their QB.

Already assigning a scapegoat? Let's see how the game plays out. Sounds like you've already decided who to blame if we lose, regardless of how the players execute.

It's up to the coaches to call the right game plan. But also up to the players to execute. For example the OL must he successful at run blocking, so the offense can be more balanced and not have to rely just on Dak passing the ball. The defense must tackle and can't allow a bunch of YAC to occur. They must pressure Purdy and make him uncomfortable. Dak has to be efficient and can't turn the ball over.

No. Games are ALWAYS in the hands of the players.

Especially today when most players make more money and have more power than the coaches.

I don’t think the Cowboys can stop the Niner’s run game and I think Shanahan will effectively negate the Cowboys pass rush as other teams have done this season.
I’m hoping KM will establish the run game to open up the passing game; if Dak has to air it out it won’t end well.
I think the winning team will both run the ball and defend against it effectively.

He aired it plenty against the BUCS and the announcers commented on the quality of his passes. We remember the stinkers but not the rosy ones.

i say that take is full of crapola. Coaches do the same thing week in and week out. So last week our coaches did a great job calling plays, they prepared their team and we stomped. Now you think somehow, all of the sudden the coaches would not do the same?

I dont give one damn what scheme the coaches make up, if the niner dline is all over Dak all gae, we lose. That aint about being prepared, it is about the guy across from you kicking your arse for 60 minutes.

I played HS basketball and I was pretty good, but my left handed ball handling was pretty weak. Coach gave me crap one day and told me if he was guarding me it would be easy because he would just stay on my right side. I made it clear to him Id still go right past him. Point being, he would have been prepared for me, but I was way too quick for his butt to stay in front of me. By the way, that coach had a kid on the team and I made it a point to kick his arse everyday in practice for the rest of the year. I would make sure I guarded him just to make him have to guard me. Id smirk at his dad every time I burned him...

Establish the run game.... you can only establish the run game if it is actually working. Id like to see Pollard start and play75% of the snaps. This Zeke come in and get 2, 2 and then 3rd and long is old. Ive been a huge zeke fan, but damn, his last 40 carries are like for a 2 yard avg? Cmon bro... as the youngens like to say.
