So holding someone accountable is gutless? Wow, typical sentiment in this country.
Of course hold him accountable- He should Hold himself accountable as well.

My only points here is:
He doesn’t have enough weapons to beat a SF in SF .
We are stuck with him - may as well get him a burner or 3.
Thanks for your service.

Dak regressing is the Big issue......so KMoore should do something about it or KMoore isn't progressing as an OC. The regressed play deserves an effort to correct, take a deep breath about, improve.......and if it can't...........a personnel change would suffice...........Dak (coverage recognition?).......or KMoore? (running game?, WR routes?, balanced attack? situational football?). Now who tips the scales more?
I go back to Philly.
Wentz went in the tank and I didn't see or hear them getting too concerned about the OC
they cut bait and moved on. They're one game away from the Super Bowl and playing at home this weekend.

What'll probably happen is, Jerry will keep them both and we'll be having this same discussion again next year about this time......

Jerry never thought of cutting ties with Romo......never. So why now.....if it can't be determined yet if Dak's slump is fixable?

May be right. Why are we concerned with Philly way of business just for QB? Maybe Jerry should hire Howie Roseman to come in to replace himself as GM.....then we're on to something.

Dak needs a fresh start playing for a different team.

If Dak stays in Dallas he will be benched sometime between preseason and the regular season.

It’s over for Dak in Dallas, only question that remains is a smooth exit or a nasty one.

Am I pissed off he threw two grenades in big spots ? Hell yeah .

Do I think he let us down ? Hell yeah ( stone cold voice )

Is he as bad as people are making him out to be ? Dumb - no

Would 16+ teams take Dak ? Yep

Mocking this guy over his girlfriend?
His facial reactions?
Where were these people when he lit up TB?
Where were these people when he snapped his ankle - horrifically and then bounced back like a champ throwing for nearly 5k yards .
And before he blew his wheel out - he was on pace for 6k yards !!!

That’s when he had weapons of course .

Go get him a Devante Adams - a top
Center - a running back that isn’t a plodding embarrassment.

A scout that doesn’t waste picks on Tolbert and Joseph .

A GM an actual GM.

Truth be told we should have won a ring by now with Dak.

It should have followed Tony Romo’s ring .

Stop piling on this guy ffs …

He’s here for awhile

truth hurts but...it's still the truth. Dak needs to be hogtied until he learns how to read defenses. Throwing 2 picks against the best defenses is always going to get your beat.

I know some people don't want to hear this but for the majority of Romo's career the team around him wasn't as good as the team around Dak has been for most of his years. His first year as starter they had a good squad, he was still learning and took some lumps as we discussed earlier. But from about 2008 until 2014 the talent level started to dip badly. Look at some of the guys playing interior O line during Romo's prime (Phil Costa, Nate Livings, Ryan Cook, etc were an example of the C/G starters during that period)
A lot of people viewed Romo as carrying those teams and unfortunately sometimes, he couldn't do it. A lot of people view Dak as what's holding them back

honestly, all Dak needed to do the other night was not turn the ball over. he didn't need to throw for 400 yards and 4 TD against SF. the defense more than did their job against a very good team on the road. they even bailed us out and held to 3 on the early INT. he just needed to not make the key mistake and everything else likely would have taken care of itself.

for some (myself included) that was the last straw. I get that you disagree, no worries, good discussion.

I'd be absolutely fine with that.

I think QB is the position people are focusing on because I think with better QB play we'd be playing this weekend
eveyrone else on the team (possibly except Zeke) did pretty well the other day.

Dak was given a championship caliber defense this year and they showed up for the playoffs, shutting down Tom Brady and holding a hot offense scoring 30+ per game to essentially 16 points.

He deserves every bit of criticism after being coddled for 7 years.

Did you see it when aikman did it? I know I didn’t and it was in the heat of the game

I just think Twitter is a biatch way to do things and he’s walked it back

Not saying it’s you but mostly trolls jumped on this bs
Yep...I get it.

I suppose count me as "tired of this "I gotta do better"" meaningless stuff. Parson;s statement has accountability.... and that does include his for the vehicle he chooses to do it with. Not everyone is gonna get on with it....I understand.

Just mentioned on a post when it comes to Romo.....it's like Romo had me blocking for him. The excuses flow.

Dak has taken a little heat, sure....but a TON of people bent over backwards "protecting" him. These same people say his leadership and toughness are his best assets.

He's a big boy now....I think it's do or die time. Time to put the heat to his feet.

I really don;t feel very confident about it. Just completed 7 years and that deer in the headlights look...holy moley. It looks more like confusion the concentration and focus.

....the two contract guys. Where was Gallup (Dak) and how was his route running (on Gallup)? DL beat our OL all day. Coverages confused our OC too. Deservedly, QB played bad.....but to say everyone (talking offense) did pretty well except Zeke......I don't know about that.

SO you are saying it was Romo's fault? How?

I suppose you could say something like "well interception that ended the game, DUH!"

I propose it was Romo more often than not that had us with a chance . If not for him we likely would never have had that last chance.

Everybody remembers that last play or the one real F up. No details that lead up to it. Some even blame him for stupid Crayton play. Ridiculous.

I also propose that we all have some faulty perspectives about it, after all these years.

The owner/GM straight up said that O line wasn't a priority because "we have Romo". He was on record.
If you want to argue that Phil Costa and Nate Livings = Tyler Biadasz and Zach Martin, be my guest. You're free to plant that flag but you and I both know it's baloney.

Same thing with WR.
"We don't have any weapons, etc". I remember the year Laurent Robinson led the team in TD catches. C'mon man.
Cee Dee Lamb is 100 X the receiver Laurent Robinson ever dreamed of being.

you call it an excuse. To those without an agenda, it's reality. Did Romo get it done? No, he didn't. In that, he and Dak are similar.
But acting like he was playing anywhere close to the same hand is delusional. For most of his career, simply not true.

Gallup was open a few times for potential big plays. He can't throw it to himself.
From what I saw the pressures were extremely limited on most of our pass plays. Yes you aren't going to erase Bosa etc but he didn't spend all day in our backfield. Blocking was at least as good for Dak as SF blocking was for Purdy, if not better.

the coverages confused the QB. Not the OC.
It's not must me saying it. Guys in the locker room are pretty much saying/insinuating the same thing.
they know. If you don't want to take my word for it, take theirs, I guess.
